We had heard such good things about this restaurant so we had high expectations. Unfortunately, they weren't met. The restaurant is very small and overlooks a car park. It is so small, it doesn't look like a restaurant, more like a private room. Although they had dimmed the lights in an effort to create ambience, the atmosphere was lacking. It was a Saturday night when we ate here and there was only 2 other tables dining.

We had a 3 course set menu. The calamari entree was average, nothing memorable. The main course was a lamb dish which had a heavy, overpowering sauce. I found the main to be very disappointing. The chocolate pudding dessert was delicious and almost made up for the bad main. The overall quality of the food made the set menu price seem expensive. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

As always, Bluefin was the perfect romantic evening, great food, great atmosphere, great service and their courtesy bus will pick you up and take you home! The most underrated restaurant in Sydney.

We had arranged a friends 60th dinner here not so long ago, and after being to Blue Fin a few times before we were certain of a great night and great food, we were wrong. Even had a friend travel all the way from Melbourne for the evening, what a disappointment that must have been for them. What has happened to the service and also the food?

Arrived at 6.30 pm, entrees finally arrived at 8 pm and mains around 9.30 pm we were starving, lucky enough we ordered bread to keep us going. Being only one of 4 tables in the restaurant we thought there would have been better service. The serving sizes were so small we thought that they'd mistaken our orders and made our mains entre sizes. And not to mention the entre sizes, prawn entree with 5 small prawns!

Let's just say you have 10 customers that will not be coming back and will not be recommending this once favourite restaurant of ours.

My family and I went to Bluefin a few weeks ago to celebrate my wife's 80th birthday. We have previously visited Bluefin as we wanted to make sure we chose the best place for our special occasion. We had met with Leni, who manages the restaurant on our previous visits and as she promised she looked after us fantastically and made sure we were well fed and watered and all of our guests agreed that she really made us feel welcome. She had suggested to us to make use of the Sunday special which helped keep the price down. You can't beat $30 / head for a 3 course meal! We'd just like to thank Leni again for making our day so special- look forward to seeing u again soon.

We celebrated a recent anniversary here. Whilst we understand many do not dine out mid week, it was still a surprise to us to be the only patrons in the restaurant. We have dined at Bluefin on many occasions and again we had a wonderful evening. We couldn't fault the food, both on presentation and taste, it was lovely.

Being the only diners of course we were well looked after, but on every other occasion we've been here, the service has always been top class, not at all over bearing or over attentive. The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet, romantic dinner from the furnishings to the music being played, without a doubt one of our favourite restaurants in the shire!

What a gem! We enjoyed a fantastic meal and experience. Hidden within the club is a well run and managed restaurant that boasts beautiful food and excellent service. The vision and completeness of the experience is impressive. Well done. I highly recommend it.

I just love this restaurant! My husband and I have dined here often. We have not been disappointed with food or service. I celebrated my 60th birthday at the Bluefin with 48 guests and both service and food were excellent. We take business associates as well as friends to the Bluefin in the knowledge that our guests will enjoy a delicious selection of food and efficient and friendly service.

Gorgeous food and great service. Priced for very special occasions. Have celebrated a wedding anniversary at Bluefin. Also, used the helpful and accommodating events co-ordinate for a party of 22 guests. Staff organised a flawless 80th Birthday. It was an absolutely perfect event!

Disappointing, New Years Eve, paid $90. No Decorations for New years Eve. Band Mental as Anything came on at 11 pm. Back up Band sleepy. Midnight not acknowledged. ALOT of disappointed people, 20 at our table.

We have visited this restaurant on about 4 occasions during 2007 and on every occasion the food and service has been outstanding. We can"t wait to try the new menu, we"ll be back to visit very soon. If you havn"t been here give this a try, you won't be disappointed. The club bus will even pick you up and drop you home so you don't have to worry about have a couple of drinks to many.
