This is one of the best sushi trains I've been to, the prices are reasonable, and much of the food is on the cheaper plates, there is a good variety, and the quality is really great. Since it's just outside the cinema, it's open quite late most nights too, and is great as a quick bite before going into the movies. Can easily fill up within 10 minutes of sitting down!
The best sushi train I know. Great food, it even has a range of desserts. Good friendly staff. You always know that if the dish you wanted isn't on the train you can ask for them to make one for you. Not all raw fish, there is a range of cooked items. It isn't all got wasabi either. Some dishes are spicy and others aren't. If there is a dish that needs more spiciness, there is wasabi going around on the train. They also have soy sauce for you to use.
Not too expensive, all the dishes are priced to their value. My favourite dishes are the deep fried crab claws and the green tea ice cream. (Which is nicer than you would expect.)
I have been a regular for many years now. This place is consistently good. Just when I think I'm used to the menu there is always a tasty new morsel to become a new favourite. Standouts are the salmon rolls which are slightly charred (with a blow torch). The sashimi here is always of a high standard. This is the best sushi train in Chatswood (there are several). I have eaten at numerous sushi trains over the years but this is by the far the best over time.
I have been to plenty sushi places around Sydney and this is one of the worst! The staff forgot our order, service was slow, price is expensive considering that the taste is only 6 out of 10. I was very disappointed with every aspect in that place. Will not go back again and it's a shame because I'm a sushi lover!
At around $3 a plate it sounds very cheap but when you count up the plates at the end it costs about the same as eating out at a regular Chinese or Thai restaurant. The food is tasty and there's plenty of choice. My 9 yrs old loves it here otherwise I'd prefer to dine elsewhere.
This is a smallish Japanese sushi train in Westfield right outside the Hoyts ticket counter on level 6. We've always found it a great place for a quick bite and something to drink (they do alcohol or soft) before the movies. This place hasn't been that impressive in the past but on our latest visit, the range of treats on offer was sensational and the food exceptionally fresh. For those who think these places are all raw fish and nothing else you can relax: the dishes are cooked or raw; fried or sautéed; fish, chicken, seafood, pork, vegetarian - you name it. All served on little plates trundling by before your eyes. It's very tempting and be careful not to overdo it!
