I'm a long time customer and will admit I preferred their original location. They have tried really hard to make the new location inviting but on a crowded night it is way too loud and echoey to enjoy a romantic dinner. Then again on a quiet night they are overattentive and tend to hover which can be a bit unnerving. That said they are always extremely polite and all the staff are trying their absolute hardest.

The food is a little expensive but of very high quality and the cuisine is pretty unique for Sydney. I usually get takeaway and it's usually as a special treat. In fact just thinking about Jade's Bloody prawns and the Sanbei calamari is making me hungry. Good for groups as they have a pretty reasonable set menu. I recommend you book on Friday and Saturday nights.

We had the entree plate which was very good. Slow cooked pork was also very nice, prawns in crispy batter were a bit too crunchy and had a bit too much batter.

We liked the look of the place but it was a bit too noisy/echoey to be intimate.
A little pricey for what we got and it would've been better if it was byo.
Being close to the casino parking was an issue, needed to feed the meter every hour.

Nice building - nice staff. Interesting menu, quite pricey for some small serves, but good quality ingredients. I'd go again.

Four of us dined here for my friends 40th. We didn't book, and was lucky to get a table as we arrived early. The place filled up pretty quick, so next time we will book. We were all very impressed with the venue, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. We were advised to go for the banquet, which we did.
This was a great option, and the only drawback was too much choice!

The menu is amazing and we chose wisely I think. The pork belly is to die for!
There is a great choice of seafood and dumplings. The food was exciting, fresh and very tasty. We will definitely be going back for more.

Loved this place. You feel like you are eating in an old fashioned Temperance Hall but they have jazzed it up a bit to look a bit funky. Forget the ambience, the star here is the food. Great seafood, great dumplings, great variety.

This Pyrmont Chinese restaurant is very good. The ever popular prawn dumplings are a must. The pork belly was well rendered so it wasn't overly fatty. The scallops in XO sauce were equally cooked to perfection, soft and plump. The ambience is very warm and friendly. Next time we'll try the multi-course tasting plate.

Four of us dined at Blue Eye Dragon last Saturday. We had the banquet and took the dishes recommended to us. The food was wonderful and the staff very friendly. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. 4 of the 10 dishes arrived within a few minutes. We asked to slow down and there was a little gap but then another barrage of food. It was very rushed, which took away the enjoyment of the food but only a little.

I'd certainly recommend going there. My only other warning is that it's a bit noisey, buzzing with happy customers, probably wise to book.

Love the Dumplings, Love the softshell crab, love everything about the menu, love Muriel, Love Jade, Love Jimmy, must have been at least 20 times and never disappointed.

Visited the Blue Eyed Dragon at it's new home on Friday night. Great to see that the quality of the food is just as good as it was in the old place. The new venue is great, lots of character and a great buzz to it. Will definitely be going back - the food is delicious.
