Typical western-style Chinese restaurant of the 1960s without the flock wall paper and with food to match. The place was full but apart from the staff, there wasn't an Asian in sight. Very ambitiously priced Chef's Specials so we chose from the cheaper end of the menu. The food was well-cooked and presented but boring.

Staff were courteous but disinterested and the food arrived so quickly, we were only there for just over an hour. This is the only Chinese restaurant we have ever visited which is not BYO and as the cost of three Tiger beers added $26 to the bill the women drank water. The ambience, such as it was, was destroyed by the cigarette smoke pouring in from the customers outside. Our verdict? For cheap authentic Chinese food in an ethnic setting, go to almost any restaurant in Eastwood and don't forget to take your own wine and beer. They probably won't even charge corkage!

The food is to die for! The seafood egg roll and peeking duck with fried ice cream sounds like a great night but from Blue Dragon. Bit expensive but as soon as the food hits your mouth, money is the last thing on your mind.

Great Chinese restaurant. It is a bit expensive for the suburbs but the food is good quality and fresh. They have big meaty dim sims and tasty spring rolls and prawn toast. My favourite is the butter lobster. This place also has the best fried ice cream. Really good, consistent Chinese with great service.

Without a doubt, the best Chinese restaurant in the west. We drive from Caringbah to eat here. Can't say a bad word about it except it's a little on the pricey side for a suburban eatery. Price aside and that hasn't stopped us yet, I wish it opened on Sundays as well.

Service is unbelievingly good. Food is fantastic. Great atmosphere created by staff and pretty good value.

Is this place still going? The last time we went, about 5 years ago, the menu was the same as 10 years before. Like most Chinese restaurants, nothing changes. Where's their innovation?

A perfect 10. I have been going here for over 10 years, and have had 5 birthday celebrations here. It is a really good treat cutting the cake with a sword! Food is the best, even better than I've had in China Town. Traditional dishes and lovely Chinese art. Odd location to find such a wonderful resturant. Bill, the manager, is a joy.
