Love, love, love this place!

Delicious food (my favourite being the honey prawns)and plenty of variety available. Although slightly overpriced for Chinese food, the quality is great and the meat/seafood dishes are not 'filled' with veggies as other asian places do - just pure meat/seafood!

I'm also a Coeliac, but the owner Bill is very friendly and understanding and tailor makes certain dishes for me.

Would recommend to anyone.

This local was a new try of mine. The pros:- Beautiful decor on the inside (Don't let the outside fool you), lovely service and some quite delicious mains that leave a pleasant aftertaste in your mouth. Their sweet and sour sauce is amazing and is not the typical pre-made packaged rubbish you find.

The downsides: - They rip you off blind if they can. Even though we went on boxing day, they claimed that the surcharge was only $4.00 a head. Instead, they ended up surcharging Every main item on the menu. For 3 people with entrees, mains and drinks, we ended up just over $180! If you're short on money and want a cheap bite, don't go here. If you've got money to blow, however, I highly recommend it.

This place may be a metaphorical diamond in the rough, but you certainly pay a diamonds value!

We dined here twice but regularly order takeaway and like most reviewers comment - the food is a bit expensive. I always order honey chicken which was my favourite. Good food but expensive. Also, one time I ordered my honey chicken and it appears to be cooked differently.

Went here recently for a family dinner. Its good chinese food. Amazing special fried rice, I have never seen such big prawns in chinese fried rice ever. It is a bit pricey, but worth it for the great service and food.

I don't know how this restaurant isn't a perfect ten, everything about this restaurant is perfect! The staff are lovely, especially Bill. He always welcomes us with a smile and a kiss! Takes the order down in his head, yes that's right, no paper or pen and he always gets it right!

The food is beyond amazing. Everything tastes great and is full of flavour. The dishes come out quick, hot and fresh. I don't even live near Northmead, but my family and I do travel up there just for the food. It's just THAT good!

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The quality of the food was mediocre and we paid a premium price for it. Don't mind paying a premium for high quality food. We will definitely not be going back there and would not recommend it to anyone.

Been going there for years. It is nothing in comparison to what it used to be. After we were seated, ordered a round of drinks, waiting, waiting, excuse me can I have a menu please? They bring out a face washer on a plate that the waiter expected me to eat my lunch on! Bad service, unbelievably expensive, waiters with bad attitudes. Save your money, eat Thai food.

Very disappointing experience! I have had Blue Dragon twice before and it hasn't been the best experience but thought I would give it the last chance. I wish I didn't. We ordered take away, 1 entree, 2 mains which totalled $70.00. That is ridicuous! I order Thai which is 100 times better and only comes to $38.00! I am so peeved that I spent that money on really bad food.

Do not get the san choi bow, it had no taste at all. I had a mongolian lamb for a main and I have had better from the local chinese for lunch which only cost $6.00. Never again will I come here again! We called up to complain and they did not seem to care either.

Very expensive, small rushed meals. Ordered drinks but never got them. When I asked them to remove the drinks from the docket. They said we can get them now. We were leaving and no way staying for an overpriced drink. Not a good experience at all, then we were told they will not charge us for the drinks!? Not going back, never going to recommend.

I come here all the time and when I can't make it I'll get takeaway. This is the best chinese restaurant I have been to where the staff are friendly and the food is amazing. Although it may seem pricey, it is definitely worth the value.
