I couldn't imagine eating here by choice. Usual Club food and it's OK, and averages about $14 so not too bad. Absolutely zero ambience - some tables jammed in on top of each other between the bain marie (!) and the smoky pokies. It's a bit sad if anyone thinks this is a reasonable environment when it isn't particularly cheap. Service definitely not with a smile, it's actually quite amusing to watch the open kitchen in full flight - some unhappy campers here ! You'd only eat here if you were here having a few drinks.
Classic Club Bistro, avoid anything that isn't deep fried or "of the day". Cheap and cheerful would be my comments, a schnitzel and chips is only $10. Pretty hard to beat in the city. Just don't expect great things. Although It is good value for money.
No prepared breakfasts here. Everything is cooked to order and tastes great. Good value for money - for $12.50 there's toast, cereal, tea/coffee, plus eggs done to your liking (any style) with bacon, hashbrowns, tomatoes, sausages and other items included in the price. Also does a very good, affordable evening meal. Only a small establishment but well worth a few visits if staying in the Travelodge above or another nearby motel.
