I used to eat here regularly about 8 years ago and have nice memories of their lunches. I was less impressed on my recent visit. Dinner time takeaways are reasonably generous in size but quite pricey. If I had the choice I would definitely prefer to eat at one of the Newtown Thai restaurants such as Doytao or Atom.

The food is consistently good here. However, probably a touch overpriced compared to other local thai restaurants.

The let down is the service. The waitresses were neither attentive or friendly. We didn't get a smile or any form of politeness all night. Then when we asked for a container, we were left to do it ourselves.

I've been there a couple of times but after the last visit, I wouldn't go back.

I have not eaten this Thai food for years, as it was always too salty. As a nearby resident, I thought I would give them another try. I ordered the chicken pad thai and the chicken cashew stir fry takeaway. Both were so oily as to render the food substandard. I phoned the restaurant and gave them my complaints. They were apologetic. However, when the standard of food is inconsistent, I will not be returning.

Stopped in a for a quick bite the other day. We ordered the duck salad and satay chicken. The salad came very promptly, a little too promptly for my liking and while part of it looked tasty, I could see that there were floury three-day-old tomatoes and glassy pieces of cucumber all through it. Deftly side-stepping these, however, and the duck was fabulous. As too the satay, somewhat heavy on the sauce, but damn it was good.

We have only ever had home delivery rather than eating in. Always great food and it's quick. It is also much cheaper than a lot of others. A $7-10 difference. We had laksa the other night. Not as good Malaysian laksa for sure but good anyway. Lots of great chicken and green vegetables. Our favourite here is the pumpkin stir fry.

I went there with my friend for lunch one day and we had to leave the place because the staff was sooimpolite and unfriendly. Today I decided to give a go one more time. There was nobody except the staff and even though we were told to wait because the staff have to finish breakfast. What's that?! Client first! So rude! Never ever!

The food can vary from time to time. We used to only use Big Boys, but then the food went down hill. We tried a few more times and really wasn't good. Last night we gave them a go again and no regrets whatsoever. The food was back and better than it used to be.

The food is super quick, I wouldn't want to dine in, maybe only at lunch. But for dinner hasn't really got any feel to it. We shall be back again. Only wish they took cards, I'm sure they loose out on so much that way. But gotta pay for the louis vitton bag on the counter some how.

Is good place for quick lunch or dinner. Delivery doesn't work properly. Usually used to place order via phone however not always got my food delivered. Had to call twice...

Used the online delivery service yesterday to order my luncheon banquet for the office. I had used the service the week prior and did not have a problem. Yesterday, no food arrived. Online orderers beware, our hungry office went across the road to Domino's Pizza.

Super-value, high-quality Thai food to be had here. We call ahead and it's ready in 5 minutes! The best thing about Big Boy Thai is that they don't skimp on vegies and meat (very generous with the snow peas, capsicum, tofu, egg etc) and the flavours are fantastic. Perfect for a Friday night or when you just couldn't be bothered cooking.
