I worked near this restaurant most of the time I ate here. Food is awesome but the staff is bit strange. They don't care abt customer when they are having dinner. All of them ( nearly 5 to 6) people have dinner together. I think owner should look after this branch.

This place is an awesome place, especially for lunch. I have eaten Thai everywhere and I will travel the distance to have Big Boy Thai, even though I have a Thai place walking distance from work. They are extremely fast, even when they are busy, you never wait more than 5 minutes for your dish and for $8.50 lunch you can't go wrong, great taste, great value and great service, highly recommended.

Have been here a few times now (weekend lunches) and love it, great tasting curries and the chicken and cashew stirfry is a fave! We have always had huge portions and food has always been very fresh, hot and I don't want to stop eating. Yum!

I can only rate on what I had experienced from the menu at Big Boy Thai 3 which was Pad See Ew, fried rice with chicken, spring rolls and chicken satay sticks.

I was rather disappointed with the chicken in the Pad See Ew. I had to send it back to the kitchen as the chicken had that manky taste like it was cooked the day prior to serving. I was then informed that the chicken was boiled. Boiled the day before then placed in the fridge to extend it's expiration? I hope not.

Fried rice was similar with the chicken and it just didn't taste right. Springs rolls and Satay sticks were good - standard. Satay had lots of flavour. Serving sizes were large, service was a little slow in taking our order and the ambience suites a gathering of small friends / family for a quick meal. I won't be returning to Big Boy Thai.

I have to disagree with reviewer below as my portion was quite small with, perhaps, too much rice. However think we are all used to over eating at Thai lunch places and the "small" serve here was probably what we should be used to. Food was very nice. I had BBQ chicken. Delicious.

Your small local thai place. Decor is nothing special, small tables and chairs, most popular for lunch specials with the local workers. Portion sizes are HUGE, and the food is ok. Not somewhere you would go for a fancy dinner though.

I went here on a lazy Sunday for a birthday lunch. The food was nice. I had fried rice with beef, my friend pad thai and my friend's mother had a spicy prawn dish.
The prawn dish was nice and the prawns plump and our dish proportions were huge.

My fried rice was very tasty, although the beef slices were a bit too big and gave off an overwhelming aroma I didn't like. Oh but I always enjoy seeing fried ice cream on the menu, and it was lovely. My only nitpick was that the tables were a little small and the waitress seemed bored.

Have had home delivery from this place many times and the food is always great and the delivery is always quick. Food is good value too - recommended for nice Thai food.

This place gets quite busy during the working week, when they have their specials for $7.50. Outside of the lunch special hour (Mon-Fri 11am-3pm), you will have no issue getting a seat, as it is usually quiet. The servings at this venue are quite inconsistent. Have ordered massaman beef and on different occasions, I received generous portions and at other times haven't received enough in proportion to the rice served.

Just be wary of this. Food overall is quite nice, serving the stock standard thai dishes. Service during the peak times is almost non-existent, as they are rushed on their feet and more keen to turn around customers, due to limited seating. The dining area can fel quite cramped, as tables are quite close to each other and the takeaway queue also snakes through and around the tables as well. Overall, well worth the visit during the lunch special times, as the value is good, provided they give you generous portions.
