Hands down the best chilli chicken I can find in Sydney. I have always only bought take away. Can take a while to fill your order though so if you're in a rush, call ahead.

Surely a gem not many people know. However, I do believe that the food other than the chicken can be improved.

The Best Chicken cuisine in town? I think so! Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) is one of my favorite indulgence dishes and Beschico is probably the best.

The place itself has So much potential. I could see this place busy after work, music playing, bar packed out, beer all around. But sadly, its pretty low key and dim. The decor could use an update and they should keep the music and air conditioning running to keep it lively. The booths are a great idea for that intimate gathering and drinking.

Now on to the food. The combo and meal sets could do with a big improvement. The rice and salads are a little sad so I try and avoid the meal dishes. But the chicken, Korean Fried Chicken, Crispy Chicken, Boneless Chicken, Chilli Chicken, Soy Chicken. Oh my these are fantastic. Imagine juicy, flavoursome chicken pieces that don't make you feel sick and get a headache from the oil like at KFC. That's what Beschico is all about. Its fried, tasty but not greasy or sickening.

Usually I get take away from here as its just down the road. Fantastic for parties or a dish in a meal. Its not cheap, but I feel its worth it. Now if they could improve the meals/combos, they'll be on to a winner! This place should be packed! Location is great, the idea is great. I see it becoming much of a beer house/hang out spot.

Service is friendly and prompt. Beschico is in fact a large chain enjoying success in South Korea. I only hope it gathers more strength here. If you love Korean food and beer + Fried chicken, give this a go!

I liked the food here, but when I got takeaway food there seem to be a lot of rice there. Prices are reasonable, doesn't take too long to come out but what I am most impressed about is the ambience, its like something from facebook game "Restaurant city". They got booths, small tables for upto 4 people, internet and long tables for big groups, I just like their lay out!

I like chicken, I've eaten there quite a few times now. If you like chicken, I highly recommend it. There are a few decent traditional type korean chicken dishes, and some fried rice dishes but the fried and oven baked chicken is really what you would come here for.

The oven baken chicken pieces with wedges is the top dish for me. I think you can get normal or spicy. Not sure exactly how they prepare, but manages to taste pretty great and not feel too unhealthy. Another worth a mention is the fried boneless spicy pieces.

The place is interesting, it's that western/asian mix. It neat, clean etc, but it's not the ambience that would draw me. Having said that, it kind of works as a place to have a couple of beers with friends (they had sapporo, and a few others). Service was fine. Attentive enough.

Not sure about the price point, they seem to still be working that out. They seem to be trying out different things each time I visit. It works out ok for me going with a few people and sharing.

I tend to agree with the points made by the other reviewers so far. The chicken is fairly tasty and slightly decadent (at the end of the day it's fried chicken, you're kidding yourself if you came to this place expecting a wholesome, healthy meal), but the real problem is that they really need more diversity in their menu.

The portions come in large, and super-large, meaning that if you're dining either by yourself or with just your partner, it's almost a guarantee that you'll be sick of chicken before the meal is over. In this day and age, a restaurant can't get away with not having some healthier options to balance out the greasy stuff, most fast food joints have had to go down this path. Nobody is this specialised any more.

The layout of the place is a little quirky, but it does mean that you do get to sit fairly comfortably. As to the bold marketing claims to being the best chicken in Australia, at least that's better than the place on the mid-North coast claiming to have the "best pies in the universe"!

For me, Beschico is a place where I would go to load up on takeaway for a party at home for a medium to large group of people. The concept doesn't quite work as a dine-in restaurant.

I think the comments below are a bit unfair. Yes, it might not be "the best chicken cuisine in oz", but it's definitely closer towards that than "appalling" (as quoted from a reviewer below).

Food: Crispy chicken is crispy and juicy without being oily (one of the least oily fried chicken's I've tasted). The chico wings must have come from monster chickens as each piece was two times larger than what you would get at KFC. They were a bit more oily than the crispy chicken but definitely below the average. It came with a sticky sauce which I have yet to decide whether I like or dislike.

Service and Ambience: Came for lunch so there was only one waiter who seemed helpful enough. Above average decor and ambience for a fast food style restaurant chain.

Overall, Beschico is a good honest place. While their concept is great, they lack that little a bit of execution which can see them go from a single restaurant, into an established restaurant chain. Next time you're in the mood for some fast food without the overwhelming guilt of eating extremely unhealthily, I do recommend that you try Beschico (if you're worried about price, go for the $10 lunch special).

I just can't understand what this place is about. Advertises as the best chicken in Sydney but it's fried or grilled chicken with a couple of different sauces at three times the price of what you'd expect to pay anywhere else. Management really needs to look at what they're doing wrong.

The food at first is appalling, if you want fried chicken go to a good southern american place in Sydney instead. I would even say the fried chicken here is comparable to the fried chicken in KFC. And although I don't mind the once off greasy meal, this has wasted my junk food/month. Also the service is lacking, the waiters/waitresses seem unattentive and bored which is very off putting for a customer. Much better places in the area.
