Beautiful restaurant, unique location. Really liked the food, french modern Aus cousine. Dessert, I only liked one out of the two dessert. Wine pairing, slightly disappointed with the white wine selection. I don't think the wine pairing complimented every dish. Pasta and razor claim/crab dish was the highlight for me.

I was unhappy that at one stage, the courses from the degustation was being served at 30 minutes intervals. We arrived at 12:30pm, but ended up being served the meals the same time as someone who arrived at 1:00pm. I understand that the kitchen makes them in batches, which is fair enough. But we were there from 12:30pm till 4pm, which made the experience long and draining. Hopefully the kitchen service can be better managed.

This restaurant is a "destination" by itself. This is a very good place to make someone feel special because of it's location.

Food is great and fresh and presentation is superb, the only drawback is when the sea planes arrive, the noise is over powering and so is the smell of fumes and the petrol but I guess this a part of their uniqueness. We will go back there again maybe once a year coz it is really pricey for the whole family to have lunch there.

May be there are far too many fine dining places in Sydney, or it was just the wrong day that I went. I can't find fault with any dishes except the eggplant which was way too salty. However, there was nothing that caused me to say I must come back again. I would surely tell my friend to give it a try but won't recommend for repeat patronage. I did like their all inclusive pricing approach as that was more than reasonable.

The degustation dinner was simply stunning with flavours and textures that punch the taste buds. The matching wines were very good too. Service was great and you just could not fault this place. Yes, it is expensive but it is still value for all the effort that goes into creating such a feast.

The food is excellent and it would be uncharitable to try to fault. The location is very scenic albeit a little out of Sydney and a pain to get to.

The service is very friendly and efficient, except that the sommelier had not tried any of the wines on the wine list that we had questions about, and appeared to have a very fragmented and limited knowledge of wine, which in a restaurant like this was remarkable.

However, it is well worth taking the time to travel to Berowra and eat at this exceptional restaurant. It deserves all the accolades it receives.

Wow! Went for the degustation lunch with matched wines which lasted 5 hours! Service was impeccable, the setting is beautiful. A little expensive but worth it for a remarkable experience.

Fantastic degustation menu highly recommended, had a great evening especially opened for a private event and their efforts were second to none service impeccable. Food amazing, wine selection superb, had great time with the group but it would make for a very romantic night out for the wife, mistress or girlfriend.

An early birthday surprise brought me to Berowra Waters Inn in the north of Sydney for a lazy Sunday lunch. The windy roads away from the city, slow boat ride towards the restaurant, the view of the river in a light drizzle, it was the perfect setting.

The food was served at the perfect pace and excited our palettes. The signature dish of chilled vichyssoise and beignets of oysters was the highlight. The oysters remain soft and flavourful despite being fried. Pasta with crab meat and razor clam was also my favourite with the balance of spice and seafood flavours.
