My bf and I decided to have breakfast there before I had to go to work on Saturday. We ordered and went up stairs like they suggested. 20 minutes later we're still waiting so my bf goes downstairs to ask about our food and the woman said shes just preparing it now, while he sees the other woman give another customer just what we ordered when we were the first customers of the day! Such bad service that we just walked out. Wasted my morning waiting on food that never came.

Probably the most disappointed I've been after going out for breakfast. This place is just down the road so I finally decided to give it a go. The eggs were tasteless, the bacon was old and the coffee was appalling! My parter ordered a cappuccino that was the worst I've seen, chocolate sprinkled on top of warm milk. I would definitely warn people away from here. There are much better cafes in Neutral Bay!

Have been to Benny Boyds twice and found it expensive and unimpressive for the value. Also once my wife bought an orange juice that upon closer inspection of the bottle turned out to be one month out of date!!

I've had takeaway coffee from here twice and each time was painful . The coffee was acceptable but the service was appalling. Not only did a coffee take over 10 minutes in a not very busy cafe but the last occasion the attitude was awful and when I asked for a receipt, I was refused. When I pointed out that I was legally entitled to one, I was given a rude look and the tut tut treatment. Never again.

By the way, the other review looks like it's the staff.

Only tried the coffee but it was perfect. This is top tasting coffee - very hot but not burnt, not too bitter and a large portion served in a nice cup. The friendly staff actually bothered to make a coffee that I would like rather than just a standard option. Sitting in the sun outside on a wintry day was pleasant but I want to try the lounge upstairs.
