It took 30 minutes to receive our order. We then only received 3 out of our 4 meals. They need to improve their service.

A little dull inside considering it is suppose to be a sweet cake shop. Service was ok and what we got were pretty good.
Choc raspberry cupcake, choc macaroon, sticky date and milk choc passion fruit mousse. The best was prob the cupcake was more like a mud cake texture. But all were good.
This place for out west was good, but still lacked the flair and excitement at a lot of the CIty patisseries.

Just got the biggest lemon meringue pie, it could serve 20 people easily. Now I love a good lemon meringue but this mouth watering feast for the senses is out of this world. It make those who love a tart pie as well as those who love a more mellow pie happy. Well done you've got an addict on your hand now. Plus you guys make me the best morning coffee I could ask for. Well done!

Heard about this place in the Good Living so decided I absolutely must try it. A few months down the track I remembered and came in for a coffee and cake. The cakes looked absolutely scrumptious, it was so difficult to choose, asked the girl her opinion but she just kept pointing me to all the fruity cakes. Decided to get an opera, it was so good, almost orgasmic! Relaxed and read the paper. Tables were a little dirty and cluttered with previous customers plates but what can you expect when they're is only 2 people working, one taking orders and the other making coffees, definitely recommend putting a few extra staff on at such times. Can't wait to go back and try some more :-)

Went last week after rave reviews. Dirty tables everywhere. Nice presentation of food. I've just returned from Paris and there's no comparison. Macarons quite hard, hazelnut gateau abit tasteless and the little creme brûlée was sour(all three of us agreed).
No apology, no offer to replace, no clearing the table of all the offending food or dirty plates. Chef tried a brûlée but left the rest in the cabinet so he must have liked it. Would have been nice to get feedback. Always believe in giving a second chance tho. We'll see.

This cafe serves the most delicious french savouries and sweets. Their salted caramel macaron and chocolate creme brulee tart are a must-try. They sell a gorgeous range of cakes in single servings, as well as small and large sizes for bdays and celebrations.
The cafe is in a sweet sunny spot, and has a mixture of couches and tables throughout the cafe. The only dampener is the shocking service. It is hard to excuse 3 staff members being rude, brusque, unhelpful and unfriendly. They're All having a bad day?! When I asked questions about their cakes for an upcoming bday they were unsmiling, and unhelpful. I had to remind them that they had forgotten to bring out my caramel macaron. From beginning to end, the service was downright rude.
So, I will be back, because the cakes and pastries are so delicious, but if the service is as consistently bad next time as this time (Three staff members behaving in this way!) I will go elsewhere for my french delicacies, we are spoiled for choice in Sydney.

The wonderful staff at Belle Saveur were kind enough to let me book for a large group of people (16/04/11). I originally had another place in mind to go to for my birthday, but they were booked out. Which now I am glad they were!
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The desserts looked amazing. The White Chocolate and Berry Pyramid was delicious. Some of the group had savoury dishes. Must try them next time.
Will definitely go back. Thanks again to the wonderful staff. It was a great birthday afternoon tea!

I bought a chocolate creme brulee cake for my husbands birthday - as he doesn't like cream or custard I'm very restricted to what I can buy - luckily I received a pamphlet in the mail a week ago from belle saveur (who until then I didn't know exist!) and decided I will give them a go and I was not disappointed - the girls were wonderfully helpful and the cake just melted in your mouth. I know where I'll be getting all my cakes from in the future!

First course, good ingredients simply served. We then cautiously tried a three way split of the lemon meringue cupcake and it did indeed have real meringue curls, moist lemony sponge and a runny lemon curd centre. Unlike the many pretty cakes that promise but do not deliver this was delicious! At last a fresh high quality experience in Penrith.
