I've been visiting this cafe once every few month for over 10 years but I won't ever return after the last visit. Went for breakfast, food is ok, it is expensive (we paid $70 for 2 adults 2 kids!) but I enjoyed my meal.

The coffee is ok, not fantastic but the worst part was we sat outside and were bombarded by birds, horrible myna's that kept on standing on the table, on the back of our chairs. My daughter got up out of her seat and one of the birds took her waffle. Just an awful experience. Staff have no clue and don't seem to be concerned. Disappointingly won't be back.

This cafe is spacious and offers much needed respite for partners of non gardeners: where they can run off for a cup of coffee whilst the partner shops on.

However, most people in this situation may like a light snack that bizarrely not really available. The prices, for most meals, range from $20-25: well above the $5-15 you might expect to accompany a quick cuppa whilst escaping your partner's shopping obsession. And, if you are after a good, sit-down dinner, why would you think to go to a gardening mega-store?

We visited for breakfast. What potential but sadly way off the mark! I ordered mushrooms with ricotta cheese and spinach. I was expecting a pile of mushrooms but instead there was a stack of 2 mushrooms on a very thin piece of sourdough with ricotta perched on top. The bread was so thin the meal was soggy and I left the restaurant hungry.

My wife ordered fruit salad which appeared dried out, had obviously been sitting for a while and not refreshed. The staff were friendly and service was fast and efficient. Probably too fast as the mushrooms had been sitting and not freshly cooked! The ambience around the serving area was very tired, dark and in places looked very unclean. We sat outside with a nice view over the courtyard in the sunshine and that was much more pleasant.

Overall I thought the pricing of the mushrooms was at least 30% more expensive than comparable cafes with out the corresponding increase in quality. I don't mind paying more but I expect far better than this.

I've eaten here several times but have always been a little disappointed despite the beautiful surroundings. This morning I went here for breakfast with my mother and the service was pretty terrible, the lady who took our order was unfriendly almost to the point of rudeness and got our order wrong.

We both had pancakes with cherry compote and the pancakes were clearly not homemade nor fresh, I think they may have been woolworths' hotcakes as they tasted identical to these. The accompanying sauce was very nice but there wasn't enough of it to mask the bland manufactured flavour of the stale hotcakes.

The food is reasonably expensive considering there is little service and you have to fetch your own cutlery. Very disappointing, neither of us will be eating here again. This was a weekday morning and it wasn't terribly busy so there wasn't an obvious reason for the unfriendliness of the staff.

PS The coffee was also a bit average.

I've come to this review with the sense of righting a wrong. When I suggested meeting a friend here for brunch, she was very reluctant, due to the low eatability scoring and poor reviews. However, having visited several times this year, I really do think that Belle Fleur deserves a more recent review than its previous one of almost a whole year ago.

Set within Flower Power Enfield, its ambience is absolutely glorious on a sunny day. I could wish for more from the garden and ponds, but the overall atmosphere is beautifully relaxed. Food tends to weigh on the pricey side, but it is satisfying nonetheless. I do enjoy the savoury muffins, with a coffee or a fruit smoothie.

Service is not outstanding, but it's not atrocious, either. The wait staff definitely deserve a score of more than 2.3 (as at time of writing). Never on any of my visits have they made any mistakes. In fact, I could only fault them for being a bit too diligent in removing my crockery once I'm finished. I like to linger over my last morsels a bit more.

Overall, Belle Fleur is a decent local cafe. I wouldn't make a special trip for it, but, given its strategic location within Flower Power and a stone's throw from a good deli, it's worth the occasional weekend visit, especially if it's sunny!

A little over-priced and the service could be better. They need more staff, particularly on a Sunday.

I have been here a few times. However, this will be the last I will ever step foot in there again. We order a scone and tea. People that had come in after us had even be served before us. They "forgot our order", perhaps, they need to employ more staff, service very very poor!!!

Great setting! and great smoothies! but food overpriced and coffee is poor. What a pity the only cafe in the area can't make a decent cup of coffee.

Great location, bad food and shocking service. This place is never consistent.
