Park on Cumberland st near the Glenmore Hotel. Beside the Glenmore hotel are steps which lead down to Gloucester Walk (pedestrian only) continue and find bel mondo on the right. Do not take the second set of steps which lead to Argyle st.

Came here on a 3 course lunch special for a great deal! Food is great for what you pay, especially at The Rocks! The Salmon with Scallops entree was delicious, and by the time dessert was deserved, I was so full that I could not finish my bread and butter pudding.

We organised a lunch here for five of us a few weeks ago. Food was fantastic, great flavours. Wine selection was good and so were the cocktails we had to start. Lovely views across the city and just nestled up from the Rocks, perfect location.

Brett our waiter was fantastic. He was attentive and very friendly. Beef carpaccio - divine, 10 hour slow cooked lamb shoulder - perfect, liquid dessert (toblerone) excellent, chocolate fondant - to die for..the moet chandon went perfect with all three course, I will definitely be back, have to try the rest of the menu, Bel Mondo was perfect, a round of applause for our waiter Brett. Truly a standout menu, food and most importantly service. Thank you for a truly memorable night!

Had a Friday lunch because it was handy and I remember the old bel mondo when it was the place to go. Food was excellent and the service very attentive. Already booked to go back.

I had always loved Bel Mondo, but went on Tuesday night and was terribly disappointed. The head waiter was rude and arrogant, we sat there for approx half an hour before our drink or food order was taken and the food was nice but nothing special. The general feel of the place was good, but service has definitely dropped over the years.

We went back again, this time with a group of 10 and everyone enjoyed the whole evening. Food was varied and everyone was delighted. We were not rushed and despite being very busy on the Saturday night we were Ok with the service. We will be back again. For 2 or a group would highly recommend.

Took a friend here a few months ago, he had the 5 course meal and I had the 3 course. We both enjoyed our dinner. Try the lychee cocktail if you go, I loved that!

We came on a quiet mid-week night, with a reservation. Got a nice window seat with a Bridge view (never hurts).

Our waitstaff were exceptionally friendly, and the food was delicious, we couldn't finish our mains, even though we wanted to. Still managed to share a dessert, which was also pretty darn good.

The only (minor) fault I'd mention is that the lighting was too dim. We could barely see our food, which tasted great, but I'm sure the chef put lots of effort into the presentation too, it was a pity we didn't get to see it clearly.

I dined here with friends on Australia Day and enjoyed the experience very much.
Both entrees and mains were superb, the slow cooked lamb was perfect. I live nearby and, in my opinion, this is the best restaurant in the area.

I dined here again with friends recently and things are still very good indeed.
