Being charged Corkage in an unlicensed restaurant is not acceptable. Take your own glasses.

Then there is the $16 salad, two slices of Tomato and two slices of Mozzarella. Oh and a teaspoon of Pesto, Caprese Salad, I don't mind people in business making a profit, but I do mind paying over the top for an average little corner shop cafe/restaurant.

Generally the food is good, but their pricing and the attitude towards their customers by charging too much is poor. No Corkage. Fair prices for food on a plate and I'll go back, but until then, this one is scrubbed off the list.

Went here last night and was very pleased we went. It's tucked away in the shopping village but I know word of mouth will make this place worth looking for. Not a huge place which keeps it more 'homely'. We had the calamari and polpette (meatballs) for entree which were just so delicious. The meatballs are not alike the ones my mum makes. We then all had a different pizza each (4). We all agreed that they were really good.

The pizza bases are really nice, much better than the thick, heavy bases in some other places. I could eat the base on its own anytime. The servings are quite reasonable and the pizzas are great for 1 as a meal on its own or shared with an entree. Price wise, pretty much on par with other similar cuisine places I've been to recently. I've already posted my thoughts to friends on facebook to do themselves a favour and go!

Definitely making this place a regular.

Best pizzeria in the hills! Pizza served traditionally with fresh ingredients. Owners and family and friend staff are friendly and welcoming and treat you like you're dining in their own home. Became weekly visitors till the busy Christmas period. Relaxed and a hidden gem to the limited good food that can be found in the hills.

Just finished up eating our takeaway pizza order this evening and I am severely disappointed. Reading the menu, it sounded like the something different which we have been searching for in the Round Corner/Dural area where dining can be considered pedestrian at best! Although we should have taken the hint on what was to come when we read that their philosophy on pizzas is "less is more".

We ordered four pizzas from the menu and only one actually had the ingredients on it which were outlined. The first was a pizza which promised potato, cheese, rosemary, garlic and italian sausage. Only the cheese and the potato seemed to have made it onto the pizza. Not a single piece of sausage was identifiable and I counted two pieces of rosemary in total.

The second promised a mixture of field mushrooms, the only mushroom on the pizza was your surburban button mushroom.

Third was a garlic pizza, unfortunately, the garlic could not be found. The only shining light was the pepperoni pizza which delivered on the ingredients promised and tasted okay.

Normally I would turn a blind eye to this but at $20 a pizza for a takeaway, to have a lot of the ingredients missing was beyond disappointing. The place was busy and we had to wait over 30 minutes for our pizzas from the time of ordering. I can't say I would be willing to re-visit this place again and will instead, go to the other better value and more reliable pizza places in the area!

Bel Fiore Wood-fire pizza and pasta. Best pizza in town!

We stumbled across this family run wood fire pizza and pasta joint by beautiful accident. Tucked away in the Village Green, Round Corner/Dural on the site of the old Cheesecake shop, this newly opened and wonderfully decorated establishment with hand painted tree mural and Real wood fire pizza oven has become our favourite in the Hills.

We were quickly seated by friendly wait staff and the kids were given paper and texta’s. With them settled, I walked one minute to local wine store (Vintage Cellars) and picked up a bargain red.

The menu is respectfully trad. rustic Italian fare with an emphasis (obviously) on pizza and pasta. So, down to business, the Hawkess ordered the ‘4 formaggi’ (mozzarella, sweet Italian gorgonzola, fontina and parmesan cheeses) and I went oceanic with the ‘Gamberi’ (prawns, spinach and cherry toms) and the little ones shared a spaghetti and meatballs and a delicious garlic pizza crust with yummy pesto and olive dips.

We soon revelled in the cruisy, fun ambience with its warm, friendly, family vibe. All good but the real revelation here was the quality of the food. Light, crispy pizza that seemed to melt in the mouth and be packed with incredible flavours as well. The kids devoured the meatballs with smiles a mile wide.

We couldn’t help but finish in gluttonous fashion with incredible cheesecake and coffee that was pretty darn special too.

So, all in all, a tremendously enjoyable family meal with really quite heavenly food and probably, in my humble opinion, the best in town. Highly recommended!
