If yOu love over cooked rice and chicken with no flavour go here for 15 bux this is the worst and most over priced slop I have ever eaten. It's not that hard to make good Mexican food. They need an overhaul in their recipe or put the price down.

Great food let down by poor service.

- The young female staff were more interested in attending to their social lives rather than attending to patrons.
- Once attended too staff managed to forget to give food to patrons once ready.
- Would recommend takeaway rather than dine in - back dining area requires much needed cleaning attention.

If you're a rude, trendy, up yourself hipster near the Cronulla area then here's the place for you. The staff here are all too cool for school try hards who think they're in the latest general pants catalogue or something. Simple questions or requests get rude responses, they're too busy chatting to similar dressed or cool kids at the bar to do their job.

Heres a tip-go somewhere else about 50 metres up the road. Less of a wait for better tasting food, better value, and the bloke working behind the counter is from my first visit, what I'd call a good bloke.

Went to the Newtown operation. There is much better Mexican to be had at Guzman or Izote. The flavour was very bland in what we had. Not very good at all. My partner had cold food and he had it replaced graciously and the bar tender gave us 2 drinks free which was great and unexpected. The fit out is fabulous and the DJ was excellent, if they get the food a bit better I will be back but until then Guzman, Izote and Mad Mex have my taste buds!

Beach burrito newtown yummmm. This is rapidly becoming my favourite local haunt and it seems a lot of other peoples this place is jammed full with people spilling out onto the street 7 nights a week, we had a birthday party there last night and for $20 a head banquet we were absolutely stuffed full of yummy food, me and my husband laughed as the manager seem to play a game of tetris fitting customers here there and everywhere around the restaurant, Popular this place is, sooo many customers coming and going.

The range of tequilas was awesome although I'm not feeling the best now, they seem to have a dj playing old school records here most nights, and last nights dj was awesome playing old time reggae, surf tunes and little bit of world music mainly latino stuff, cool art on the walls and a completely unpretentious vibe, grilled fish taco's rule, a busy but relaxed environ is what you'll find here, far from 5 star dining and I don't give a stuff its fun fun fun.

Been here twice and both times the food has been really good. I agree the chips and guacamole is a bit of a rip off at $7 but the burritos are really filling as are the salads/burrito bowls which one of my friends had. The drinks are also pretty good value and the atmosphere is great. Would def go here again.

I went to the Newtown Beach Burrito Company with a group of friends. We had a great time. My tofu Burrito was great, my friends also thoroughly enjoyed theirs. Next time I go back will def. try the Fajita, it looked great. Atmosphere was fun, live band outside gave it that extra summer feel. I will def. go back. Had a taste of the Margarita, Yum.

Just ate @ the new Newtown outlet. $15 burrito that was no bigger than a four and twenty traveller pie (and probably no tastier!), too cool for school staff & loud blasting reggae music that was no quieter after moving outside (not a dreadlock @ the joint!).

Seriously, beat it out of Newtown and go back to your eastern suburb's beach's with your trendy clientele.

BBC should count themselves lucky that the cartel's don't operate here.

"good times's, great food"?

Maybe... if you're a drunk.

I went there for breakfast and the food was nothing in particular. Really a poor dish. Service is ok and the place is lovely.

Went to the Bondi Beach BBC a couple of weeks ago and... Yum! Loved it! It was very relaxed and 'whatever' kind of atmosphere, but it's the beach, that's what I expected. The burritos were delicious and huge and the chilli was awesome! We took our 4 month old and it was a good thing there was plenty of music and chatting going on because he is noisy - no one seemed to mind. All in all, will go back for sure.
