One of the worst Korean BBQ restaurants that I have ever dined at. A BBQ restaurant without dedicated exhaust vents? The ambience is one of choking on smoke, while desperately trying to get the attention of staff to check on your order or order more food.
The food was less than ordinary and not worth the ordeal of eating at this poorly designed and poorly run establishment. Pick up your socks BBQ City and invest money in those badly needed exhausts!

A staple in my favourite restaurants. Rowdy but hearty and good, with plenty of staff to service. Better value in larger groups perfect for parties.

Went to BBQ City for dinner. Ordered beef bbq and bimbimbad. Beef tongue doesn't look like beef tongue, same as beef rib doesn't look like beef rib. Ordered a beef bimbimbad, just okay. Ordered 3 meat dishes, 2 beers and a beef stone pot, the bill is indirectly expensive with the quality of food. Not recommended for others to go.

Nice atmosphere, exhaust hoods would be better. Air con didn't help much apart from cooling the food quickly. Combo BBQ platter was a bit pricey $$$. I ordered green tea, was expecting it in a pot, loose leaf. Turned out to come separately in mugs with tea bags which were not refilled nor did it have much flavour. Overall, it was nice to see it was busy on a Sunday night!

This place is a pretty decent korean bbq restaurant. Been here a few times, and all have been enjoyable, except once where the waitstaff were extremely inattentive, and we were unable to order for the better half of an hour. Overall decent food, slightly less than decent value.

This place is a Korean BBQ restaurant, hence the name, BBQs in the tables, so don't complain about the smoke, its a place for serious barbecuing. Korean people are serious about their BBQ and eating. Staff are friendly and the key is to ask them about how the BBQ works, they will often adjust it or change it for you anyway. Tap beer or table keg is great, Soju in several types, the meat menu is simple for non Koreans, if you have cultural issues with pork then Korean BBQ may upset you, sizzling pork and meat is everywhere.

First impression was that this restaurant seemed very hidden away, only having a few signs outside and a very steep but wide staircase. The ambience as we first walked was very welcoming and had all the traditional features. We decided not to order the BBQ because most of them would be very similar to other Korean BBQ restaurants, so we just ordered off the menu.
Foods were very fair for the price and portion sizes were above decent, however, quality was lacking. It had tasted very average and didn't have the full extent of the Korean marination.
Service staff lacked a little in the English language which would make it all the more traditional Korean ambience but was a little bit problematic when it came to explanation of the menu. Also it would seem like all they did was bring you the food and be done with it, without asking you for drink re-fills.
Overall, very good for value for money was probably the high point for this restaurant. Would I go back for more? If I skipped breakfast and craved for spicy foods, Yes.

Went to the restaurant last night for catchup with friends (15 of us in total). Service very impressive, accommodative and flexible even though they were busy to the brim.
Food: came out very fast and tasty! Ambience: perfect for large group gatherings who want choice in korean food, whether hot pot, bbq, or single dishes. Highly recommended!

I love this place. Usually go for the beef with potato noodles, which is a hotpot you cook yourself. I also love their basic salad, it comes in sections and has nashi pears in it.
Korean beer is $4 a pop, the service is always very attentive and the food is delicious. It would be a great place to have a birthday or event as there's plenty of space.

I an avid fan of Korean food, 8/10 times me and my friends will head for Korean, I am not Korean but I have a tastebud for great Korean food.
Tonight I had the chapchae (friend Korean noodles), the servings was massive, there were only 2 of us girls and it was truly massive and very very yummy, good flavours and plenty of vegies in it and not too oily! The best chapchae I have had in a while compare to Madang, Seoul Ria, Millore and O Bal Tang.
We also got our favourite, soft tofu soup with seafood, that was delicious too, really really good seafood broth. Our other dish was the soy bean with sardines and potato soup, it was a yummy but I think me and my friend was unprepared for the saltiness of the soup so I think it was just us not liking it as much but it certainly wasn't the fault of the chefs there.
Our banchan was great, yummy and not too hot kimchi, jelly, broccoli wiht the chilli sauce, kimchi radish strips and kimchi potatoes, very nice! There was a wait cause we were there by 6:45 ish but we only had to wait for 15 minutes and the staff was friendly and very kind when we asked for recommendations and food to try. The only downer for the service was when we asked for banchan refills, the waiter bought back the wrong food!
The tables around us were having the grilled Korean BBQ but me and my friend didn't feel like it but we may try it next time. All in all, great Korean food, almost better than Madang you know, kind of as good as my fav, O Bal Tang. I will definitely be back with more friends and try their other hot pots! The 2 of us only paid $18 each and we stuffed ourselves with 2 soups and the noodles.
Will definitely be back for more!
