This is a hidden gem. Love everything about this restaurant, the food is great, the staff are great and it is BYO as well as licensed. Will be back as soon as possible.

Bay Hong is a restaurant serving great Vietnamese food. I eat there regularly as I know I am going to enjoy the food and evening in general. The Crispy pancake and the pork belly are delicious. We find the staff very friendly and attentive and they do all they can to make your evening enjoyable. Recently we were given a delicious complimentary dessert. This is one of those places you will want to return to.

From the outside the restaurant is very unassuming and the atmosphere inside is cozy with the staff being very helpful, professional and attentive.

I've been to Bay Hong a few times now, most recently last night having booked my birthday dinner there. The banquet meal we had was amazing with each of the 12 courses being delicious and varied. It was very nice and personal for the head chef to come out and say hi to us and even offered me a complimentary serve of their dessert (pandan ice-cream was awesome).

Highly recommend this place and highly recommend the beef osso bucco, pork belly and crispy skin chicken! Thanks for another great dining experience!

Love the place! I've been to the restaurant 3 times and was never disappointed. Liked the atmosphere there and the staff was always friendly and helpful with the orders. The food was really tasty and nicely presented. My favorite was the beef mince and the night's special but I couldn't remember its name.

The price was good too. The last time I went there with two of my friends, between the three of us we ordered three entries and two mains and it cost us less than $70 and that's more than enough food for us. I'll definitely go back again!

We went to Bay Hong a few nights ago for a birthday dinner mainly because it seemed nice and affordable and convenient for everyone to get to. It was both those things but much more and were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the food, service and value.

The owner was very sweet, accommodating our request to move the 8 of us to a table away from the door [it was a freezing cold night outside]. The serving sizes were generous and the food was super tasty. Some of the dishes we ate were so good that we immediately ordered seconds. The salt and pepper tofu was crispy [without being too oily] and the salty onions tasted had that special barbeque flavour and were completely addictive. The calamari was equally tasty. The days special, a curry recommended by the owner, was a favorite. A lesson in asking what's good on the menu.

Anyway, the food at this hidden gem was so good, and there is so much more on the menu to try, that we have booked a table again tonite for a family dinner. Yum!

Delightful little vietnamese place. Waiter was so adorable. Food was amazing, my only request probably the mains were a bit small. I am very very fussy and don't like oily thai so this was just perfect. If you're after tasty, light but satisfying and trying to watch what you eat this cuisine is perfect. I will definitely be going back 100%.

Went here on a Friday night for the first time, after reading the reviews. We were very impressed, the ambience of the restaurant was lovely and the service was outstanding, the wait staff were extremely attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. The flavours in the Crispy Ginger Whole Fish and the garlic prawns were fantastic and packed with flavour! Reminded me of similar dishes I have had in Vietnam, which I have not seen replicated in a restaurant in Australia, except Bay Hong! We will definitely be going back. Want to try the dessert combo plate.

We got the banquet menu. Couldn't fault the food. The dessert platter was gorgeous. Service time was good. The waiter was very friendly. All in all, I'd recommend it to anyone looking to try Vietnamese food.

We love this place! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is always so good. The King Prawns in red sauce are amazing. Not sure about the review below that states they thought it was expensive. We had dinner here last week and for the 3 of us it only cost $80! We had 2 starters, 3 salads/ mains and that was plenty of food. In fact we went back again last night and it was equally as fabulous. We will be back!

Went to Bay Hong with 11 other people for a friend's birthday. Based on the reviews below, we had come to the restaurant with a level of expectation from the restaurant. While the food didn't disappoint, the serving size was exceptionally small for the prices we were paying for them. We left the restaurant still feeling not satisfied, and we are by no means big eaters either.

The ambience of the restaurant lacked character. A passer-by might have walked past the restaurant not knowing that they had just walked past a Vietnamese restaurant. The restaurant was also pretty quiet while its neighbouring eateries were doing busy trade on a Saturday night.

I don't think I'll be back to this restaurant again considering the price paid for the serving size, and the difficulty of finding parking around the area is not worth a return visit.
