Overview of Bathers' Pavilion Restaurant

The Restaurant is at the northern end of the Pavilion with views across the shark net towards the Heads (the cafe is at the Southern end). The restaurant is an impressive affair in a warm setting with impeccable food and service to match the stunning view. The interior is modern, styling and yet there is still a warmth and cosiness to it. The emphasis is on fresh produce grown by small producers.

Had a meal at Bather's Pavilion restaurant on Saturday night. The service was without a smile or anything remotely friendly. I did not feel welcome and I got the impression they wanted me to order, eat and get out of there as soon as possible. For the money paid I expected a better experience and I wouldn't recommend. It was not value. Not impressed.

I felt so ripped off! The meal was $90 per head for two courses (wine, sides etc. extra) and the portions were almost matchbox sized! Don't come here if you want to leave even remotely full.

Fabulous location and building and that's even without appreciating the view since we were there at night. Wonderful ambience, quietly professional service but the food was a little uninspiring, all things considered. Still fun and an elegant night out but make sure you're in good company that's worth the money.

Fantastic location. Went for lunch and sat by the window overlooking the beach and the Heads. Food is very good and well presented. Service was professional but a little slow. Expensive (especially the wine) but you can use the Entertainment card for 25% off the bill. Worth it for special occasions.

My fiance took me here for dinner the night he proposed on Balmoral beach! Was beautiful. The set 3-course menu was delicious. Service was great. Beautiful location within the historic bathers pavillion. Had views of the beach and water while dining. Quite expensive though.

This truly defines "what you pay is what you get". Excellent food (in terms of taste and presentation), excellent service and the most important part is they have excellent view.

Perfect for a special occasion. Fabulous for lunch and even better for a sunset dinner. If still on the menu the pineapple dessert is a must try!! The ambience is spot on, great unintrusive service with a fantastic casual atmosphere that works so well for this beachfront location. I can't recommend this place enough.

Went there for lunch with a friend and we had a great time. The weather was beautiful and we were seated right by the window. As it was not busy service was friendly and with a smile. We ordered two courses each, main being the barramundi and lamb loin. They were both delicious and cooked perfectly. Instead of an entree we opted for dessert and I was glad that I chose the pineapple and ginger tart with pineapple sorbet. It was light and very refreshing. Would love to come back to try the degustation menu.
