Had a really yammy food there, especially the marinated beef and the spicy pork of BBQ. Wanna try the cold noodle next time cause it looks very nice. The soup is excellent as well as the additional red rice. The quantity of every dish is not too much but enough for only 2 people. We 4 people spend around $80. Will go back later.

Had a great time and really enjoyed the food. this was my third time there and I was glad to see that the place had evolved...so many restaurants remain frozen in time...or deteriorate further.

The menu had gotten more extensive, in variety and in details. Honestly, the service hadn't improved much but I was glad to see that the menu has been added with instructions that help you through the experience of Korean BBQ (that is, if you are a first timer) the food was the same - excellent! and I definitely got my fill of beautifully flavoured Korean Galbi.

The food here is decent and most of the bbq meats are good. The bibimnengmyun (spicy mixed cold noodle) is also quite nice here if you want something else besides meat. The place is a little crowded and small but inadequate ventilation, so be prepared to smell like your dinner after you finished.

When I went with my sister, she closed her eyes and sighed dreamily. I didn't think it was heaven, but it was excellent. The ventilation isn't too good, I could see a mild smoky haze in the restaurant. The free side dishes are great value for money, but the service is mixed. When a waitress came to take out order, she asked if we were here the first time, and recommended some dishes, but when we asked for water or side dishes, it took quite a while and had to be reminded.

This is the best and cleanest Korean BBQ restaurant I have been to. The food on offer is fresh and the flavours in the marinade and seasoning are well balanced. Bassim is probably one of the only Korean restaurants which have paid attention to the decor, all the seating, ceilings and walls complement the ambience of the restaurant. Not too dark not too bright.

Service was not the best but I went on a pretty packed night. However, the free side dishes made up for it. As with all Korean BBQ and Japanese teppanyaki, the odour from the barbecue will always stick onto your clothes. The difference is the degree. The ventilation at this restaurant ranks up there with the best I've experienced here or overseas.

Food: It's pretty good... but there weren't much varieties. Ambience: Pretty Modern

Service: Not so good... they don't seem to look after us, need to ask 3 times to get some water. Value: Expensive compared to other Korean restaurants. One of my favourite Korean BBQ restaurant is at Campsie.

Had dinner at this place with a bunch of family. It was great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Not really recommended for family dining as menu items are limited for kids. But overall a good place to eat and great value.

This was the best Korean restaurant I have ever been to in my life. The waiters and waitresses were not the best but the excellent food and free side dishes left me in awe. I will definitely go again soon.

Getting a tooth pulled with rusty pliers would be an easier feat than visiting Strathfield's 'Bassim' again. The food was obviously raw because you barbecue it yourself but you'd expect some sort of preparation - be it marinade or rub. You'll get neither at Bassim, and it seemed like an equally difficult procedure for the waitresses to get us rice, chopsticks, menus and drinks. The place is packed with people, which - believe me - is no indication of quality.
