Average food and really awful service. One waitress was rude several times and the bar staff were worse. I really don't need that kind of attitude when having a night out.

The food is not bad, but you can get better food around Darlinghurst or better tapas on Liverpool St. I think it is expensive and has a very mediocre service, especially at the bar.
Used to be the best Latin night club around Sydney a few months ago, but now is just a no go place. Really guys what happened? You had the perfect place a great crowd, very good music and now it sucks; there is no party atmosphere anymore.
We need a new good Latin place.

The food and service were great, salt and pepper squid and the garlic mushrooms were divine! Big issue with the naked lady pictures, call me old fashioned but I prefer my tapas without a side order of nipple! Pls get rid of them!!

Tried this place recently and we were happy with the experience overall. The portion sizes are good, the service ok and the music a bit of fun. We went with a large group and they fed us well and in a timely fashion.
Two detractions from this place, firstly it's too expensive for the style of food, secondly the food is ok, but it's not great, better can be found elsewhere in the area. As a final note:
one welcome relief in all the reviews here is at least people aren't saying about "it not being authentic" pfft !

Such a great set up with food to match. Celebrated my birthday here recently and had a great time. We had to have their set menu due to the size of the group so I can't comment on their more exotic tapas but the staples are great. The vinegar chicken was a real treat with the tender meat just falling off the bone. Salt and Pepper squid is normally hit and miss, but here it's definitely a hit, so crispy and with the right amount of spice.
Having the bar out back makes it so easy to just hang around after dinner, spent a good 4 hours there almost without missing a beat. I had brought along a cake which had melted in their freezer, but they were kind enough to replace it with another cake from a nearby patisserie.
Great value, will be back again to try some of the other dishes.

Food is delicious (grilled artichokes, girlled hallumi, chilli prawns, mushroom & melted bocconcini - YUM) but service a little slow. Margarettas to die for too! Barrio is a great place to go with a group of friends.

Great place, excellent menu, really tasty food, sometimes tapas can be to dry or oily but this was amazing. I was really impressed and will definitely go back.

Nice place, delicious food. The Spanish omelette and fried tuna were good. Friendly staff and great reggeaton/ Central American music.
