My husband and I had a rare night to ourselves and chose to go to Barbuto. On arrival we were greeted by warm and friendly staff and when we asked if we could change our seat it wasn't a problem (and this was 630pm Fri night). We chose 2 starters to share, I had a divine glass of red (or 3) then a lovely main each and a gorgeous poached pear dessert to share.

The atmosphere was warm, friendly and inviting, the service, attentive and friendly but not once did we feel rushed. I can't put my finger on it, but it certainly reminds me of restaurants/taverns/bistros in Europe, well done Barbuto, gary and kim will be back and spread the word.

Wow, only being going here basically every week since you opened and today my wife booked a table for 7pm on friday and was told we need to be out by 8pm? I understand you have a business to run and whilst my family love the food I am really disappointed that you don't remember the customers who were coming when nobody else was! Bring back Kylie! Its a customer service business. Disappointed.

Took advantage of a Living Social deal. I don't often purchase the restaurant offers as I don't want to be treated differently but this is a local place and I decided to treat my Dad to lunch. Soooo glad we did! The deal was amazing - 2 small plates, 2 lunch plates and 2 coffees. The small plates were huge!

Dad had the Goats Cheese Bruschetta with pear, walnuts and honey and I had the deep fried zucchini flowers. I had the Ploughman's Lunch to follow and Dad had the burger. The burger was superb, really tasty. Coffees were delicious, despite being decaf.

I really want to recommend this place highly, great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff and right opposite the beach for a postprandial stroll. It's not going to win a Michelin star for its cuisine, but it's great value, huge servings with an open airy and lively atmosphere.

Ate here on a beautiful Thurs evening. Its such a shame the foliage across the road prevents getting a good ocean view but the summer breeze through the windows was nice. They have a very mixed menu, with tapas, steaks, pizzas, ribs, fish and chips, etc. Rather than start with entrees we ordered three tapas plates, haloumi, crumbed jalapenos and battered zucchini flowers. These were ample and at around $8 each great value.

Then we went carnivore. I had med-rare eye fillet, one of the best I've had. The boy opted for the larger scotch fillet and the trouble 'n strife lashed out on the combo of an eye fillet and a half kilo of pork ribs. That way we all got to try a rib as well. Each came with a nice little salad and a choice of chips or roast potatoes. Alas, not BYO but they do take the Ent card.

Three tapas starters, three big meaty mains, a couple of soft drinks, a Little Creatures beer and a alcoholic cider, take off the ent card discount, add a $10 tip and the result was $125 which was super good value for an excellent meal.

Great find, really pleasantly surprised by how good it is! Walked in on a drive-by with my wife on valentines day, were fully booked but yet still accommodated us with full service menu in the bar area. Amazingly fast service. Great food. Will be back.

The Barramundi mmmmm yum! Love the decor & the service was great! I'd def eat there again. The only thing is, I wish they had chocolate cake or sticky date pudding instead of the desserts they had... but yummy food & great service!

Food was average, can be a "value for money" meal dependent upon what you order.
Got rushed in and out within 1.5 hours, hardly time to eat, enjoy and relax for the price you pay.

Ambience is great, also very fresh and clean. Don't order the lamb ribs unless you want a rack of fat. Overall mediocre, won't rush back, considered quality for Narrabeen.

Love Barbuto, Love Kylie, best service, great food. Thank goodness Green Groper has gone and been replaced with real service and sensational food. Thank you again for opening your restaurant in the building next to where we live. The crab claws are the bomb! My husband is quite fussy but he quite likes Barbuto, keep it up guys. This is definitely what Narrabeen needed. Love you guys xxx

We live across the road from this place, so happy to have something decent like this so close to home. From the moment we walked in, the service was super friendly and attentive but not over the top.

The food was incredible, highly recommend the jalapeno poppers. I opted for a "Light Meal" as it reads on the menu (Beef burger), it was delicious and a solid meal. My partner opted for the double of steak and ribs, he just got through it but was equally impressed with the flavours. The side salad was so fresh with a great dressing, fries cooked to perfection. Good value for money too. New fave restaurant, will definitely be back there.

Could not fault our experience at this restaurant. Very impressed with food but more so service. Sincerely helpful when they realised one of our dishes had come out incorrectly. Have been twice now and both times were awesome. Great Work Barbuto! Recommended.
