Overall the (one-ish) wait staff might not have been the most competent, but there were a number of other tables on the Saturday night. Admittedly, we came here with one of the food deals/vouchers. But so did everyone else in the restaurant (not the most promising of signs).
In terms of ambience, the blue neon lights coupled with what felt like a thatched roof outside-in (for half of the restaurant) seemed a little drab.
Food was ok to start off with, shared platter with some taste to it. Mains were a marginal step above, aside from the odd hair in the lamb skewer/fillet. It is slightly hard to tell whether the food is simply reheated from the fridge, though (maybe I'm being lenient).
The desserts then went onto a weird note, pudding with caramel sauce, neapolitan ice cream or tiramisu? It seems like it summed up the atmosphere of the restaurant altogether and just 'gave up'. For the amount we paid from the voucher before, I would reiterate that it was... okay. Definitely not somewhere you'd want to take someone to impress them. Sorry to say but unlikely we'll be making a return visit.

We came here with Spreets voucher. It took me a while to make a booking coz they don't open for lunch, monday night, and 1 sunday when I called they said they are not open coz there is no booking! When we got there it's pretty obvious they are not doing well and thus the voucher deal. We spent $39 for 2 glasses of wine, an entree platter, 2 main and 2 dessert. The food tastes ok but you are not missing anything if you don't come. And every table on the night was using a voucher.

Purchased a cudo's deal, placed a booking for yesterday, turned up and they wouldn't honour the deal. They stated cudo's never paid them (they're not supposed to be paid until the deal has been redeemed) and that I as the customer has to sort this out with cudo's. I shouldn't have to do the running around. Guess I am going to seek a refund and to those hoping to try out this restaurant -avoid like the plaque!

Well, I have to say something: I am Moroccan and very proud of our authentic Moroccan food, but please people in Australia, don't go to that restaurant! It's such a shame to call that Moroccan cuisine! I have tried their couscous, it was disgusting! Tried the beef skewers, pretty bland. The dips for entree were not too bad, but em guessing it was out of the packets!
After a disappointing dinner, I had to ask the young who was serving that night if the owners were Moroccan, well they are not, they are for sth like Kurdistan. Then I asked if the Chef is Moroccan, guess what, not at all! I then desperately asked if anyone of the staff has been to Morocco or at least got some special Moroccan cuisine training, same answer: nope! I'll never go again to that place and I strongly not recommend it.

Went to Baraka Restaurant on a weeknight and it was fairly quiet. They didn't even bother to turn the lights on at the front part of the restaurant, so first impression was bad. There is only 1 lady (assume the senior staff) serving and taking orders and we can see her struggling even when there's only 3 tables.
She would take our soft drinks order then walked off and then come back to take the orders for the wine. I wanted to order our mains but she won't take the order until I finish eating the entrees. The food was ok, nothing spectacular and I didn't enjoy the dessert.

I came here last week with my girlfriend for dinner and had a very interesting experience... Without going into too much detail, the lamb shanks were dry and bland, the vegetarian cous cous had no flavour, and the desserts tasted like packet mix. The only redeeming item on the menu was the vegetarian tasting plate which had a wonderful pumpkin dip and humous.
The service was also pretty shocking, with only 1 waitress struggling to attend to 4-5 tables, failing to clear plates away, bring water or menus, etc. The woman who appeared to be the owner yelled at her on several occasions in front of customers which was very unprofessional.
At first we thought the restaurant had quite a nice feel with it's turkish style lamps and cushions... After an hour of listening to the phone ring off the hook to no answer, we got a bit over it.
To top it off, they don't serve coffee, which is very strange and a bit disappointing for a place that seems to market itself as a mediterannean family restaurant. Wouldn't go back.

This restaurant is run by a couple from Uzbekistan. The food is unpretentious but extremely good value. I had the special meal for two for $55 which included 8 different homemade dips with toasted bread, followed by a whole barramundi on vegetables with hand made chips (yum) and a choice of 3 different desserts. There is also included a bottle of red or white wine, exceptional value.

Excellent meal with special. We had the Seafood platter special with the veggie spreads for a starter. All the food was excellent. Not too many chips with the platter, really nice seafood dip. Tiramisu and sticky date desserts were both very yummy. Overall, we had a wonderful meal, one of our first good experiences, after many overpriced meals, in the Italian Forum. Thank you Baraka.

Burnt and soggy spring rolls on a seafood platter with no fish on it! The seafood was inedible, anyway, the house wine Bowlers Run ($2.99 at Dan Murphys) and the waitress needed to comb her hair and ask us if we'd like some bread or a drink when we arrived, not 25 minutes later. No wonder it's empty, it was awful.
