I hate this place, and would not recommend it unless you want to be in a pretentious atmosphere with ridiculously overpriced cocktails and bad service.
$10 steaks on Thursday are terrible. My medium rare steak came out medium well and burnt; friend's medium rare order came out half (ridiculously) bloody and also burnt.
Two times friends of mine have attempted to organise functions here and both times, the event was either forgotten about or the booking cancelled for some unknown reasons. Groups of guys stay away sat night, not much chance of getting in that's for sure!!
This was our second visit - purely for convenience - same problems. A good range on the menu and very reasonable prices. but when each meal arrives at a different time, with some coming 15 to 20 minutes after the others, it's not a good experience. The fish was frozen, cold inside and come after everyone else was finished their meal. Not good enough.
This place is great, the staff are always friendly and the service is outstanding. The food is not super cheap but it is high quality and always very tasty. It's good they always have a special of some sort every night of the week.
This is around the corner from my office so I tend to be in here every few days. It's great for drinks though the food is a bit hit and miss, more hit than miss. I love the veggie burger from the bar menu and each night of the week they have some special on. Well worth a look.
This place is absolutely awesome. There's no straight bar/club in Sydney that goes off every single Friday night without fail like 333. I was a regular for a long time and I must say, although they can be strick on guys dress code for the upstairs lounge, it's all worth it for the fantastic party atmosphere. Downstairs is pretty tame as it's basically a sports bar, but upstairs is where the real action is with a dancefloor belting out 70s, 80s and 90s hits as well as tracks from today until 3 am. Leggy waitresses make it ever so sweet.
Went there for drinks and dinner last night. There was not a overly great range of wine by the glass available on the list at the bar, only one shiraz and it was OK. Went upstairs to the restaurant for dinner, the food was quite good, I had the green curry with swordfish and prawns and my friend had the ocean trout with mussels.
I was surprised that jasmine rice was offered as a side dish to my curry, curry without rice is a little ungenerous I think. Two mains and three glasses of house red, the bill was $108, a little exxy one would think. The music was fine, the service was good. There are better places to eat and drink in the city for a lot less money but it's quite an OK place and has the advantage of proximity to my work.
Great bar to go to, to start the night off especially on a friday night! Though the bar does get busy at times service can take a while! The food never seem's to be the same though sometimes it's cooked with care and other time's seems to be a little sloppy, could pick up their game abit in this area. Drink prices are reasonably price for the city and the music is excellent!
