My favourite place in Leichhardt for coffee, a good strong flavoursome brew unmatched by anyone. I also enjoy a toasted mini Panini or even a large one which are always freshly made on the day. I'm not a mad soccer fan but enjoy the spirit and busy dialogue from the locals.

Good food and good coffee. Stools are uncomfortable. Italian soccer victories on screen on a loop are very boring. Yes I know it is an Italian area and yes I will go else where when I want to sit down and enjoy my coffee, but guys this is not St Marks Square.

Coffee lovers this is the place for you. If there is a better cup in town, I'll be a monkey's bum. Service is fast, efficient and friendly. The staff remember your football team, even if it's not Italian. They treat you like family which can be rough around the edges for those who expect pampering. The food is simple but fresh, tasty and great value. Once you go, you'll be back, that's why after a short while you'll recognise all the other patrons. You'll be a member of the Bar Sport family in no time.

I absolutely Love this place. It really reminds me of the bars I visited in Rome - it's authentic. These guys are so on it. If you're after a great coffee, panini or yummy sweet and sit there with your mag or paper - it's just ideal. It's the least pretentious place and the food is just always fresh and they serve you immediately. We love going anytime but the best is brunch on Sundays - get in early though - the secret is out.
