The coffee here is pretty good and the barista/owner is friendly but in no rush, which is fine by me but not if you need to quickly grab a take away on the way to the office. I've had a couple of sandwiches from here, small bread (think stock standard stuff you took for school lunches) but the tuna I had was fresh and chunky with fresh salad ingredients which were on the skimpy side.

I had a chicken schnitzel and didn't finish it, the chicken used was very poor quality, brownish grey and in a limp coating, perhaps, it had been on the shelf too long. Turkish toast for breakfast is good value but they lather on the vegemite which I always had to scrape off (despite asking for just a little bit). I haven't tried the burgers here but have been told they are the best dish on the menu. Overall the food and coffee is average though the service is warm and personable.

I came to this small cafe with a friend for a casual business lunch. We both ordered beef burgers and they were delicious. The owner is very friendly and knows how to make good coffee.

Surprise Package in this little cafe. They have fresh food at very competitive prices. Nice for a casual business lunch. Food: Sandwich, burgers and salads only (take the chef specials). Great coffee. Ambience: Weakest side, on busy Pacific Hwy; inside it's clean and fresh with magazines to flip through giving it a nice vibe however, the floor space is so small (6 tables for 2 people) that everyone can hear what you're saying. Service: The owner is a nice guy and his attention to his business is obvious; he's making the best out of mediocre position. Value: Great value for St Leo: $5.90 for a large chicken sandwich on Turkish bread.
