Beer or Wine? This question always gets me when I am at an Italian eatery. I decided to go with beer and as such, pizza was a natural choice. However, before eating any pizza, two of my favourite words were found in the starters. "Fried" and "Olives".

I decided to start with the bowl of olives stuffed with gorgonzola cheese that were crumbed and fried. First time I tried this was at Via Leoni and it was amazing. I was slighly nervous about it being gorgonzola cheese as it has a very strong flavour. If you like the bitey taste of gorgonzola cheese and green olives, this one is a must. I loved it and had to fight my husband to eat most of them.

I went here a few weeks ago as part of a group of 14. The restaurant is quite small and tightly packed, so they made us two smaller tables next to one another. The atmosphere is wonderful in the restaurant, with the chef cooking the pizzas right next to where we were sitting, and chatting with us as well. The blackboard wall is a wonderful addition, which gives it a very cool vibe (reminded me of small restaurants in Melbourne).

We ate from one of the set menus which included entrees, salads, pastas and pizzas. Everything was delicious, the wine list was perfect for our needs, and the staff were attentive and accommodating.

I can't wait to go back again! This is a new favourite.

Great experience. I ordered at work a takeaway pizza. When I got held up at work and got to BarPizza to find a very cold pizza waiting for me which was entirely my fault. Despite my error the kind chef not just offered but insisted he make me a fresh one for the same price. Great customer service.

Didn’t book, just rolled up on a busy Fri evening. Waitress pleasantly said ok, if we could please finish within an hour as there were prior bookings. Attended to very quickly. Ordered gnocchi with lamb, and a Montanara (meat-lovers style) pizza. Place is licensed although we brought wine ($3.50 pp corkage).

Décor is quite plain, blackboard walls covered in chalk menus, bare black tables, simple wooden chairs, unfinished polished cement floor. No matter, food absolutely delicious, service attentive, prices reasonable! A great find in Gladesville. Will certainly be coming back.

I have eaten at Bar Pizza 5 times and every time I am impressed by the greeting and quality of the food. I've tried the pizzas, salads, desserts. All are superb. Kids loved it too. Well worth it.

Great place. Yummy calamari. You must try the Prawn Saganaki, delicious. Only one small complaint, need to improve the wine list. Bit light on good chardonnays.

This place is Amazing! Best Pizza, Pasta. Caters for the kids too. Great friendly service and BYO. Opens sunday for lunch too.

Just what was needed in Gladvesville. Perfectly cooked crisp pizzas and great seafood pasta and awesome calamari. My partner and I go often and have never been disappointed, great attentive and friendly staff as well.
