    I went here on Wednesday night with a friend. It had reviewed well in Time Out and being a fan of good, old fashioned cocktails I thought it would be just the ticket. Initially I hadn't realised it was under the Star Casino, something that caused me to lower my expectations of ambience and value at the least.

    Upon entering we were immediately drawn to the vast and impressive collection behind the bar. The bartenders Marco and Michael soon introduced themselves and within fifteen minutes I was smitten with the place. Being a bartender in training myself I persistently annoyed the bartenders by asking about everything they had, a challenge which left them unfazed.

    Every drink we received was fantastic, as was the bar food we ordered, however, I'd have to recommend the Dark Horse and the Croquettes. Great night out which completely blew the lid off my expectations.
