Er... Went here for a group dinner and it's plain old Aussie Chinese food, perhaps what you'd have gotten from your local RSL growing up. So, some people will love it for the comforting, nostalgic feel of it all. But I thought the food was kind of awful. Cheap, though. I've heard that Hurstville would have been a better suburb to eat Chinese food...

Nothing special about it, but fairly decent food. The san choy bows are a little on the stingy side and the service was sketchy - although quite fast. The waitress/owner could occasionally smile, she looked like a crankpot the whole time we were there.

Never going there again! I wasn't happy with my food so I left it aside, after 10 mins they came up and asked what was wrong, so I explained and they responded with oh well that's how we do it here! And then walked away leaving the food on the table. As we left she gave us the bill with my meal still on it, I said I'm sorry but I am not paying for a meal I didn't eat, she said fine! In an abrupt manner and continued to carry on in a rude tone telling me that I was wrong and I don't know what good food is! I was disgusted by her attitude! I work in the hospitality industry and when a customer is not happy with their meal, we give them their money back and offer them something else! Well not at the Bamboo in, the customer service here is appalling!

Friendly waitstaff and nice food, a good cafe for an evening meal. The Bamboo Inn is also usually pretty quiet so a good restaurant if you prefer to be able to hear yourself think! Comfortable and pleasing.

This is the type of Chinese restaurant a person would go to only if there were no other options. The very small food servings and dodgy ambience were not made up for by the above average service.

I used to eat at the Bamboo Inn for lunch, I am not to impress with the food. They told me the food isn't very spicy and I found it spicy. I went to have a vegetarian fried rice, and I got mainly a plump of rice barely any vegetables. Not recommended.

Not bad for a local surburban takeaway that I think has been around forever.
Sang choy bau, chicken and veges as well as sizzling mongolian lamb was well received. Nothing special, just standard chinese nosh. Only BYO, which was a surprise when I asked for a beer. Had to settle for a coke.

My partner and I have being going to the Bamboo Inn at Beverly Hills for a couple of years now. We usually dine there once a week. The food is delightful, the vegetable dishes always have the freshest ingredients.

Flavours are fantastic for a more western oriented Chinese restaurant. Service is 10/10 in every way, the owner of the restaurnt waits on all her diners with care and friendliness. I never have an empty drink glass, I never starve whilst waiting for food, and my partner and I are never rushed out the door once we've finished.

Whilst the decor isn't fantastic, the friendly staff create a light atmosphere. I'll keep going there for consistently good food at fantastic value.

We came here for the high rating and we were very disappointed. The food just didn’t taste as good as in many Chinese restaurants nearby in Hurstville. Would not recommend this place.

Meals are much better than most Chinese restaurants. Service is always excellent. Exceptional value especially given the quality and the taste of the meals.
