5 of us went for dinner starting in the wine bar at 6 and migrating into the restaurant at 7. We all decided to do main and dessert (and needless to say, wine). I had the duck pappardelle (pictured) which was to die for.

Whenever here, I always wonder why my visits are so far apart.

Being welcomed into this cosy space is always like coming home, rather like the food which is reminiscent of a refined dinner party, elegant and straight forward. Not cheap but good value for the overall package.

This place is fantastic. This is how service in a restaurant should always be. I went here after an iPhone app suggested it and expected it to be pretty average but it blew me away! The staff were extremely helpful, the food was delicious and the ambience was great.

Hosted a work dinner here on a Monday night for 8 business associates. Along with my colleagues I was very impressed with such a memorable dining experience.

From start to finish the service was very professional and efficient, which is not always the case with a larger table. The restaurant was predominantly occupied with tables of 2-4 diners. From making the reservation I got the impression that we were in for a successful evening.

Our entire table were very impressed with the selection of various dishes. Most notable was the ambience of the restaurant which felt like being in a classy, European stlye restaurant in Melbourne.

Will most likely be back with future work occasions, but more than likely go back with friends on a Friday or Saturday night.

The first thing that struck me was the dark interior of Bambini Trust. The second, was the bright demeanour of the waiter staff. We were shown to our table and immediately given menus and a poured San Peligrino. The menu and specials were explained, orders placed and bread rolls served all within 10 minutes of being seated. After another 10 minutes our meals were served.

My colleague chose Cracked Pepper Spaghettini with a Sauté of Yamba Prawns, Chilli, Garlic which she said was delicious. I ordered the Confit of Aylesbury Duck - Savoy Cabbage, Pecorino, Pine Nuts and Madjool Date which was just superbly succulent. We also ordered the sides of Creamy Mash and the tarty Beetroot, Orange and Witlof Salad.

Coffees and biscotti to finish and the bill came to $106.50. In and out within 1 hour easy. What a well run place. Loved it!

Wow! Just came back from lunch here today. Used to be a regular years ago but this was my first visit in a long time. The service was friendly and professional, meals were brought promptly and, most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. I had the rabbit pasta as an entree. The portion was enormous (could have done as a main) and it was hands down the yummiest pasta dish I have had in a long time.

Then had the snapper fillet for main which was also very good. Others at the table had the blue eye cod, the quail entree special, the barramundi main special, and oysters. Everyone was very impressed. Great lunch.

Menu is not huge but the food itself is outstanding. Great selection of wines and the staff are very helpful with choosing one to compliment the meal. Service was excellent and very professional. Restaurant itself is cosy and intimate, very traditional rather than modern. At $120 each for 3 courses and 2 glasses of wine you do get a wonderful meal.

Good food and service set in dark and traditional decor. The menu is varied and interesting, and the staff very efficient. Worth a visit.

Bambini Trust Restaurant is brilliant! All the dishes I've tried are superb, too many to mention. Absolute standout would have to be the fish. The service is fantastic and the restaurant is amazing to look at, walls full of wine and a feel of being in France. Great place!
