Four of us just had Pola Pola and Mixed Seafood, grilled, just perfect. Also loved the potato and cabbage salad. Great service, modern atmosphere.
Definitely going back.

Bloody brilliant! The food is great and made my taste buds jig. The flavours were so exotic and different of what I'm used to and immediately changed my appetite. I've recommended this to all my friends and family and will be making our visits a weekly tradition.

Went on a Sat night and was very disappointed. The restaurant was full so thought this to be a good sign. Service was like having your mum serve you dinner and as for my main, well considering it cost $45.00 I thought chewing 120 times each mouthful just to be able to swallow it was a little too time consuming. I ate about 3 mouthfuls and left the rest for the rubbish bin.

Even after advising the waitress and her advising us that the chef agreed it was all a little over cooked they in no way tried to compensate for such a disaster they called a meal.

Will not go back and have already advised many friends not to try it.

Awesome looking restaurant, great food and service. Went there on a packed out saturday night, had the linguine with prawns and balmain bugs, what a delight, lots of flavour and seafood cooked perfectly. My partner had the pola pola and that was just as nice, pork skewer was a treat, we wanted to even eat the bamboo skewer it came on! would recommend this to everyone! we'll be going back again and again.

Food is plain, almost like we bbqed the meats ourselves, been twice now, the second time on a sat night was noisy, and service efficient but we felt we were being pushed to eat and go. Everything has the same side dishes too. Not a wide range of food but it's well cooked.

Went to the Balkan on a sunday night there was only three tables occupied. Seven of us ate a variety of meals. We were all very disappointed. The food was very ordinary, overcooked and very greasy not only that but it took forever to be served. Don't judge this Balkan in comparison with the one at Oxford street. The two could not be compared. Talk about black and white? still we had to try it once. We will not be going back. Shocking.
