Was at Baia Friday 25 may, sitting in the elevated seating area. A large group near me was having a special degustation meal with matching wines. Even though our food was lovely the look and presentation of the food coming out for that table was mouth watering. At the end of the dinner the table requested the chef to come out and clapped as he arrived at the table.

My group have never seen or heard of this happening at darling harbor. We definitely want to get a group together to experience the same thing. Baia the Italian we are coming back!

I personally celebrated mothers day at Baia, food staff and ambience was great we got what we paid for! free champagne for the mothers upon arrival and a free polaroid of the event, live music and open fireplace capped off a great celebration for my mother in law as well as my wifes first mothers day, we certainly will be back, thanks to the chefs and the wait staff were great as well. P.s Try the duck prosciutto.

I always wanted to go to this restaurant, but I must say I was really disappointed. The food was So Bland! For a relatively expensive restaurant, I was expecting quality, and on paper the food sounded amazing. I was utterly disappointed with all the pasta dishes we tried.

Totally disappointing. Being a Baia loyalist for years, we returned to Baia after its renovation. Baia management have most certainly invested in the decor at the detriment of the quality food and service. The best part of our meal was the garlic bread. The menu has been totally changed - the signature dishes have been removed and replaced with overpriced and unpalatable food. The wait staff lack warmth and personality. Considering prices have increased to fine dining positioning Baia have lost their mark. We won't be going back there again.

I'm impressed by the revamp of Baia, it looks more classy now and the food is more delicious/reasonably priced than before. We got a great table by the water and enjoyed some fantastic seafood Italian dishes like the arctic crab risotto and scallop ravioloni which were my favourites of the meal.

I had breaky with my boyfriend on a Saturday morning with a group deal voucher. Overall it was not too bad. However, the food didn't seem very fresh or clean. I won't go back there again, not even with any voucher.

We had breakfast here, and at 8.30am we were the only customers. Waited an eternity for coffee. Our coffees delivered, we asked for sugar for one, with which our waitress disappeared and by the time our coffees were drained she re-appeared to tell us she had forgotten.

We both had the Baia Breakfast, which is basically the lot on offer. We got to choose how our eggs were done. The wait on our meals was unacceptable, when they were finally served both our breakfasts were tepid, bordering on cold. Sorry, not great, maybe breakfast just isn't their forte?

This place is in such a beautiful spot, great for lunches! The food is reasonable, although steaks were a little overcooked and the oysters Kilpatrick a little bland.

We had to ask several times for various things we had ordered. The wait staff did seem to care and were not too blasé when reminded.

Located on Cockle bay wharf I had certain expectations for this place, considered the ambience and the prices that match. Service wise it was a little slow, the food took a little while to come out despite it not being overly busy.

Food wise a little disappointing, my partners risotto and brown rice and didn't taste the way I was expecting it to be, the chicken was ok but nothing special.

Was expecting better.

Very disappointed. I figured I couldn't go wrong by picking an Italian restaurant but boy was I wrong. Don't be fooled by what seems to be such a great tasting menu because what sounds to be oozing with ingredients and flavour on paper does not turn out to be anywhere near as great as described. They couldn't even do well as to cook my pasta al dente!

Service was just as disappointing as the food. Was forced to leave an overly generous tip when the waiter played ignorant by not returning with change. Definitely a waste of a prime location. Will not be returning.
