This place is buzzing, walked in on a busy sunday morning to be seated at their communal table. Had their baked eggs, with fetta, sauteed mushrooms hollandaise sauce and added an extra spiced sausage. It was delicious! Better than most other cafes in terms of taste, their blueberry smoothie was good too and light.
Though I did feel that I probably couldn't stay there for hours reading the paper due the queues of people waiting for a table. I'd also recommend the potato hash, I had major food envy when I saw someone elses enormous plate pass through.

To the Management,
I went to you cafe this last Tuesday to get a quick bite to eat as I was in a hurry for an appointment. I ordered,
Bacon and Eggs on toast. Any fool can come up with that dish except your kitchen staff it seems. Toast you know bread that's been toasted in a toaster? Not very hard really but your cafe fucks that up. Last time I got Bacon and Eggs on Charcoal not at all appetising but I gave your cafe the benefit of the doubt.
The next time you try to serve me Bacon and Eggs on hot bread singed a little maybe on a corner perhaps. I sent that back only the to served with cold Bacon and Eggs on hot bread singed a little on the corner maybe. I went in to get some lunch and what I got was no food and a resentment.
Thank you very much well done! Such ineptitude is rare and I will pass on my experience to many and varied.
Kindest Regards,
Mr Fabien Mackenzie

The home made muffins here are good. So is the granola. The best part is the yoghurt. It is delightfully thick, smooth and not to sweet with a lashing of honey to add a little sweet kick. The coffee ain't bad either.

Last Sat morning, Me and my friends decided to try this cafe after reading the raving review. We got a table on the pedestrian footpath, which is fine with me. At 10:20am, we ordered 4 cups of coffee, and the breakfast.
50 minutes later, we still haven't got our food. When I asked the waitress, she said everyone is ordering at the same time, so she's afraid it'll take a bit longer. Everyone is ordering at the same time? What a lame excuse! You're running a cafe and that is expected from your line of business.
So when we finally got our order, we were too hungry to care whether it is good or not. My friend hates the avocado/potato stacks cos all there is was potato fritters with avocado on top and heaps of rocket leaves underneath.
Will I come back? Definitely no. Not with this kinda service.

You can tell this place is good by the queue waiting outside. The name and logo of the place is quirky and cute, for those who don't know, Baffi means moustache in Italian and the logo is a picture of a moustache.
I went for breakfast with my sister and had to put our name down to wait. It took about 20 min to get a table but they offered to make us a takeaway coffee while we waited. By the time our coffee was ready, so was our table. My sister asked if she could get her coffee in a cup rather than a takeaway cup so they made her a fresh one and didn't charge for the first.
The food was delicious. I had the baked eggs. It was served in a cast iron pot with cherry tomatoes and roasted capsicum. It had a little bite to it which I loved. My sister had the Eggs Benedict which she said was divine.
It was really crowded, they do pack you in. We sat at the end of a long table that seats about 10. My only criticism was our salt shaker just poured out the salt to the point where I over salted my food.
I would go back and try something else that was on the menu. It all looked and sounded amazing.

I held off on writing a review for Baffi & Mo the first time I dined there as I walked away with mixed feelings, however, as I have now dined here twice, I feel I can give a pretty fair review.
It's a gorgeous looking cafe in Redfern with a very exciting menu, healthy and tasty sounding options for both breakfast and lunch that look just as good on the plate as they sound on paper, when they finally arrive.
The first time I was here we had to wait over an hour for our breakfasts to arrive, we forgive this as they were very busy, the surliness of the wait staff and having to ask for water 5 times before it was brought to us was a little less forgivable. However, the potato hash stack and the asparagus with poached egg and truffle oil was lovely.
Today though, we had to wait an hour again from when we ordered until we received our food and they did not appear at all busy. When the food finally arrived it was barely edible. Their famous potato hash had obviously been cooked well in advance of the rest of the meal and as well as being over cooked, was stone cold. The Eggs Benedict's eggs were overcooked and the toast they were on was almost as cold as the hollandaise sauce that seemed poured straight from the fridge.
Despite all of us being very hungry, none of us completed our meals and the two sets of eggs benedict were barely touched. The coffee was great and one waitress was lovely. The rest of the staff, however, cleaned and stacked furniture around us while loudly talking about how absolutely 'trashed' they got last night.
We didn't pay for the eggs and the waitress apologised for their poor quality, however, we still had an unpleasant taste in our mouth when we left. There's so much promise in this cafe and it's menu, but I'm not sure we'll give it a third opportunity to disappoint.

"Picture this: there is a prominent sign hanging on the wall,
and within a large antique gold frame... features the infamous Moustache Motif.
Rumour has it, one of the co-owner's has an obsession with facial hair."
Potato Hash Stack, Double Smoked Ham, Avocado, Fresh Tomato, Asparagus and Lemon dressed Rocket topped with a Poached Egg. (Piled up high is a delightful combination of Summery flavours for a refreshingly light start to the day. Asparagus sticks are arranged in tent-formation, while the potato hash slices consist of different sized clutters of french fries.
Most ingredients in this dish also happens to be 'good for you' which is a bonus, well, minus the potato hash pieces). The Ooze: vital evidence to prove that a poached egg has been cooked to perfection.
Pea, Corn and Haloumi Fritters with Spinach, Avocado and Roasted Tomato
(A modern interpretation of the classic recipe for Zucchini and Haloumi Fritters, not only using a different green vegetable, but also introducing corn kernels for that extra touch of difference. To dust the base off in style, Chef used a sprinkle of sea salt, cracked pepper and some purple salt. Somewhat reminiscent of the Sweet Corn Fritters at Bill Granger's Cafe, but looked prettier and not as firm).
Located in an emerging culinary neighbourhood, the quaint shopfront could be arguably mistaken for a cafe from Saint-Germain-des-Pres (or Sydneysiders would dream of this comparison anyway!).

Baffi has become a regular weekend brunch hang out for us. Great coffee and good food. A touch on the pricey end but a great place to hang out and read the paper. Note, it can be quite difficult to get a table on weekends due to baffi's evident popularity.

Decent cafe, great hash browns, not sure it lives up to all of its hype though.

Baffi and Mo was one of my fav places for breakfast and lunch but oh my god it has changed the senior staff is an older woman and is the most grumpy and rude person that could ever run a cafe. Pitty the food is still good although overpriced. The service is rude and shocking.
