I loved this place when it was down the road and frequented it often. Was great before when it looked like it was in 2 shops with the restaurant on one side and the kitchen on the other side. Back then the toilets were a bit dodgy though. Now when I went recently it was even dodgier as you have to walk thru the kitchen to get to the toilets, there was no running water and no soap to wash hands after, isn't that a necessity in a restaurant these days. Oh well, probably won't be back because of this!

Bad Thai has changed it's name to "Taste @ Thai" and moved to number 75 (which is where it was five years ago). Unfortunately, as Peter says, the ambience has really dropped. Both the previous locations were beautifully set up, now it looks much more like a country chinese takeaway. The food is still great though, and the staff are still friendly.

Before you go in, just take one good look at the place. Then consider that there are so many better Thai restaurants just 2 minutes up the road. I suppose it is cheap but what else can you expect given the dive-house soup kitchen decor, the small portions (we ordered the duck salad and played spot the duck) and the matching grimy floor and cutlery.
