Good coffee but things are going downhill at Bacino's.

We live in Dee Why and have been coming here for breakfast at least once a week for 5 years, and coffee whenever we can! The Food is good, the coffee great but the service has really gone down hill enormously in the past 6-12 months. Mixed up orders, delays and confusion.

Don't get me wrong this is a hustle and bustle italian 'bar' with hustle and bustle style service, we have never minded this, in the past they worked efficiently and got food out quickly, if you wanted someone to fluff your napkin you went somewhere else, at Bacinos you just got good food quick.

However, confusion now reins at Bacinos served with a side dish of arrogant rudeness.

The last incident we had they mixed up our order and then told us in no uncertain terms that it must have been our fault and that clearly we have ordered the wrong thing. We had to chase them for cutlery, and a unfinished smoothie was cleared from our table that we had to chase to get back!

We have probably brought these guys $1000s in revenue since we have lived in Dee Why. This for me was the last straw in a series of incidents, sadly maybe we will have to drink inferior coffee from now on, but I won't be treated like this just to get a decent Expresso.

Best Coffee in DY! The breakfast eggs and mushrooms are great to. But did I mention the coffee! The best place for a coffee and small snack. The paninis are lovely. But the coffee....

The Italian breakfast eggs are good here, the sauce is a little bit heavy though, a good hang-over cure. I like the ambience the cafe has and the service is always pretty good. Large coffees are good as well. The only let-down is the stupid garbage truck that always stops in front of the cafe which is noisy and really smelly and just plain unpleasant.

I love the mushrooms for breakfast! YUM! The scrambled egss are pretty good too. I wish they were a bit bigger, but they make great use of the space they have.

Awesome place for breakfast, try the italian breakfast, it should hit the spot! but shhhh I want to keep this place a secret! Their latte's and cappucinos are good too, only downside to this place is when the bad weather is on, its hard to find a good place to sit as its mostly outside seating, other than that, I love it.

Favourite place on the beaches for a Sunday brekky. The staff are always friendly and helpful, even when you have to wait a little for a table during the busy hours.
Excellent barista produce fabulous coffee. My mother refuses to go anywhere else.
Look out for the tuna tramazini, its to die for!

Best coffee in Sydney. Cheapest sit-down breakfast in Dee Why and you never have to wait very long for it. My partner and I have been going there for a year and we have only ever had to wait a few minutes for a table. Most staff are friendly and courteous.

The fruit frappes are awesome and the muesli with fruit and yoghurt is delicious.
We occasionally have lunch at Bacino and enjoy their individual pizzas and wraps. The location is great because you can walk off the calories by taking a stroll along the beach.

I regularly have saturday breakfasts with my wife here and it's not because of the service. The staff are rushed and consistently forgetting items you're ordered.

The food is very nice for a small cafe just off the Strand. Not that it boasts to be anything but. The Italian breakfast is delicious as well as the woodfired toast.
Aside from the salmon with eggs (which comes with overly-sweet bread and too much sauce) the kitchen staff seem to know what they are doing. The staff behind the counter, however, can't use a toaster to save themselves and constantly burn the underside of the fruit breads.

The smoothies and coffees are the best around which is why you'll even see bus drivers quickly running in as they let people off. I wouldn't recommend Bacino Bar for a quite breakfast due to it's size and popularity, but the food is nice and perfect for take-away (even the italian eggs, made into a turkish bread sandwich, which I think tastes better that way).

Truly the best coffee in Dee Why in my opinion. The food is good, although it is expensive for what you get. It's the coffee that keeps me coming back. It's strong and delicious. It's important to note that they only take cash, but there's an ATM across the road.
