Have recently moved into the area and stopped by a few weeks ago for a quick lunch. Really enjoyed the meals and came back with the family for dinner tonight. The food is very good Thai and we would definitely make this a regular restaurant. However, tonight was short staffed (only one waiter) which left them very poor on the service side. Given that it was Sunday on the new years eve weekend, we assumed that staff were on holidays and that this isn't their normal state.

We enjoyed the sizzling beef and garlic and pepper calamari, both being exceptionally tender. Would also recommend the pad see ew (rice noodles). Noted that there was a non-stop trade for take aways so it must be a favourite of the locals.

First time and a delightful visit. Food was delicious and service excellent. The map indicator on this site puts you in the RTA parking lot instead of across the road on the Pennant Hill's Road side. Excellent spot don't know why I never knew about it before.

The service is excellent, the staff look after their patrons very well. The menu prices offer great value for money.

Great place for thai food, attentive service, yummy food, with plenty of room to move (unless you've eaten too much!). Presentation of food is clean and neat. Will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Takeaway or eat in, the food is great for Sydney thai. One of the top 5 thai restaurants I've been to in Sydney and certainly much higher for value. A hidden gem.

My husband and I went there for a quick weeknight dinner and we were wonderfully surprised by the great service and beautiful tasty meals. We spent a little over $40 for an entree and a main each. I think we will become regulars!

I dined here with friends recently and was thrilled to discover this great local restaurant. The food was tasty (the massaman curry was delicious, as was the sizzling calamari) the service was helpful and attentive and it was very reasonably priced at $20 per person (we had 4 adults and we shared an entree and 3 mains and we BYO). Best of all, it wasn't too noisy, parking was easy and the atmosphere was cosy and pleasant.

We have been to Baan Bua 3 times now and have loved it every time. The curries are delicious and the Duck Salad is divine, full of wonderfully fresh flavours. The service, whilst good, is a little nervous but I'm sure it will improve as the restaurant fully establishes itself.
