The restaurant is just the right size, big enough that you're not cramped up to the table next to you and small enough to keep it nice and intimate (especially at night with all the candles). Azesti Thai will suit all occasions whether it's a quick lunch during the week (on tuesdays they do a buffet for $10), a regular night out with friends or a romantic date with your loved one. The food itself was quite nice and the portions were adequate. By the time you add up a main, rice and an entree it just doesn't equate to good value.

We visited Azesti Thai last Saturday night and overall it was a great experience. The staff were attentive and pleasant, the decor is adequate and the food was delicious. We started with Coconut Prawns, Spring Rolls and Salt and Pepper Calamari, all of which were great.
For mains we had a Thai Beef Salad, the beef was very tender and tasty. We also had a cashew chicken stirfry, fried rice and a beef massaman curry. The salad and the cashew chicken were the stand outs. All in all great Thai food. Will definitely be back.

I went here for a function, we hired out the whole top floor. There was heaps of food, good value, excellent service and the food was also very, very good. I would definitely go here again.

I am not the biggest fan of Thai food as I tend to think it is varieties of 2 dishes: stir fries and coconut cream-based curry. But these guys had a few different things on the menu, albeit one of them being a Vietnamese dish.

All went good! The food was extra yummy! The duck curry, soft shell crab were fantastic. Except the crab bit salty, otherwise they are so mouth-watering.
The entree we had was Betel Leaves - lovely!! The dessert - Egg Custard and Sticky Rice, they serve in big serving. Lovely staffs, will come back.

Wow...a medium sized restaurant on the other side of the great harbour bridge, with such explosive oriental flavours?!!! loved the entree...visually appetizing, main was Funtastic...brought back memories of my recent trip to thailand, great service. I highly recommend this lil joint, no whinge and whine from me...I will take my friends to Azesti this week, next week and then the next week...

I must admit this is the worst dinner I have ever experience. Food was lousy and so "un-Thai", service was slow. Not worth going back.

Found the service to be excellent. Advised them I had an allergy to gluten, and they showed excellent duty of care by talking through the menu thoroughly with me. They actually accidentally brought a dish out to me that I couldn't eat but prior to me commencing, they advised me the dish was brought out in error and they made an alternate dish for me. Ambience is OK, nothing special. Food taste great and good value for money.
