Went here for my birthday tonight with two other friends. The decor is adorable, it's a very cute and cosy place. We ordered 6 tapas between us, and they were all so great and very filling. I think the sirloin was undercooked, but most people would find it cooked well (I like my meat very well done) but it was still tasty regardless.

I strongly recommend the potato sofrito, sherry wild mushrooms and garlic/ manchego cheese bread. The sangria is very nice, but might be a little sweet for some depending on your tastes. Service was good, staff were friendly. Including drinks and churros for dessert, the bill ended up being $50 each (it adds up!). Strongly recommended and would love to return some day.

A nice, cosy and intimately lit tapas restaurant. A good place for couples or a few close friends to get together. Tables are fairly close to one another, so I wouldn't recommend it for first dates, as conversations may be overheard by surrounding tables. Service is casual, but still attentive.

Food was lovely, at just the right amount. Menu is more inspiring than other tapas restaurants I have been to as well. Sangria was too sweet for my liking, but still nice. Gets quite busy on friday nights and weekends, so an alternative would be to dine mid week plus they have sangria jugs for $15 from tuesdays to thursdays.

Organised a group of 18 for dinner here with no dramas. We budgeted for $35 per head and got to pick our own dishes which was great. The manager was very accommodating, even with last minute numbers. The food is very tasty (loved the pork belly and chorizo) and we left more than satisfied. Staff were very friendly and attentive for a full house on a Sat night. Will definitely come back here again.

What a great place, is probably the best tapas restaurant I've visited in Sydney, try the pork belly and the ceviche for sure, and also the haloumi cheese salad is awesome. The attention is great, very friendly and if you wanna practice your spanish one of the waiters speaks the language. A good experience and great for a romantic dinner.

This restaurant is a nice place, but as a person working in the food industry, I believe that seasoning of food and inspiration was lacking a little, I believe this place is a nice place to come and relax with friends, but to come out with your girlfriend its not really an experience.

Arrived here early on a wednesday night. Used an ourdeal voucher which was great value. All the tapas included in the voucher were fantastic, the calamari, mushrooms, chorizo and lamb cutlets. We ordered a couple more tapas which were equally as scrumptious. Also ordered the churros which we thought was a little pricey for 5 mini pieces.

Food was pretty good although I don't know if we would have paid full price for our meal. Service was a little rushed and we had to ask for the churros twice as the first waiter must've forgotten about it.

Came here for lunch with my bf. The place was nice and cosy, although the tables were placed quite close to one another. The food, however, was delicious, which is what we came for.

The garlic and sherry mushrooms were very tasty, had a variety of mushrooms in it. The grilled chorizo came with an interesting seasoning, not unique but still tasty. The paprika spiced fried calamari was sooo tender, and the capsicum aioli that came with it was refreshing. Our fav, however, were the lamb cutlets. They were sooo tasty and tender, definitely recommend this.

We went with a voucher and were expecting the worst. We were pleasantly surprised. The mushrooms were OK, their chorizo is one of the better ones I have had, the lamb cutlets with lentils - yum, and their sangria is good. It would have probably been enough food but we had to try the stuffed zucchini flowers - they were OK but not to my taste, however the mushroom empanadas with truffle oil were excellent. We thought it would have been a little expensive if we'd paid full price. The service was excellent considering the guys were rushed off their feet.

I really enjoyed this place. There was a group of 7 and the food selection was great. All the dishes were fantastic especially the garlic mushrooms and the service was really friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere with a full house and the price was reasonable for what we ordered. Definitely happy to go there again soon.

This place is worth a visit. I found the tapas to be capably prepared with interesting texture, taste, and flavour combinations. I tried about 7-8 of the dishes and could not fault any of them. They were all carefully and thoughtfully prepared.

I went with a group of 10 people on a busy weekend night and found that the service was both pleasant and efficient. I find tapas is best enjoyed in a group so that you can sample more dishes and I am looking forward to the next opportunity to eat at Azafran. I hope they keep the quality up!
