Cafe feel - kids were welcomed but food was overpriced. I ordered a Thai beef salad which was a special on the board. As it was $25 in a cafe setting, I thought it was a main and would be enough for my meal. It was tasty but I left hungry.

Had a pleasant evening , made the kids welcome , service OK , great decor and views. Food was OK although I think the menu. Has a lot of pre-prepared or at least semi-prepared items on it. Also a bit pricey.

We came here for weekend brunch when Bathers was full and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Imaginative and delicious food in a bright and airy setting, with attentive service. By Balmoral standards it's even reasonably priced!

Nice atmosphere and location for a weekend brunch/lunch. The wine list is a bit expensive with not much variance in the prices.

This is a fantastic spot with great food during the day but at night it's a different story. When the sun is shining with the windows open all those lovely white surfaces shine and gleam and it feels like a special place to be. In the evening it feels like you've been locked in a fridge. The sound bounces around the room so that every scrape of the fork echoes around you and there's not even a tiny bit of background music to fill the silence. The food makes up for it but I woud recommend you have your lunch here and if you find yourself on Balmoral after dark then head for Bathers.
