What a fabulous place ! Had heard about it and finally made it there - fantastic , friendly and most of all professional service. Great coffee, good food served in a wonderful city environment. Well done !

I was told that this place had been taken over a few years ago by good looking Italian men and that it was beautiful. I went for lunch and it was everything I expected, great service and fantastic food. I will definitely go back.

I have eaten here in the past many times since 2000. New management apparently took over in 2007 and boy what a remarkable improvement. Food, service and even the coffee fantastic. Would recommend that if you have not been here for a couple of years that you give it another go.

Food was really good - massive portion sizes - definitely getting what you pay for. Had the calamari, chips and salad which were excellent. Good & attentive service. I like it more because it didn't feel like we were in the CBD. Good atmosphere, would definitely go again here.

Food ok, service is not good. You can be kept waiting like you are invisible, they seem to fawn over regulars or be preoccupied or something.

The Avenue On Chiefly is a great cafe!!! The service was at the best quality so were the food and ambience. I was treated like a king while enjoying my time under the radiance sunlight due the cafe's divine outside urban peaceful setting.

Apart from being freezing cold outside with only a tiny heater to keep you warm, this nice little restaurant had reasonable food for value. Food was a little pricey for what you received in the end. I was shocked when the waiter remembered a table of 10 orders without writting them down - Well Done. Waiter was a little annoying at times but was always around when needed.

Food varies - I've had a beautiful homemade raviolli here once and then ordered the pasta special another time and it's tasted and looked like a failed experiment.. they do seem to be trying but they lack consistency. This is a shame as it's a great and convenient location...
