We have just started going here again since the new cooks have taken over. We have been back twice and both times we have had excellent food and service. We are definitely going back again. Thank you.

Since the new people have taken over the bistro it is well worth a visit. I have eaten here several times and the food is always good. If you can't find something to take your fancy on the $10.00 menu you are hard to please. Like the other review T bone and salt and pepper squid top choices.

I have eaten at the Australian arms since the new caterer has taken over. I had the 300g t.bone steak which normally is over-cooked when I go out but this was cooked to perfection (medium rare). The size was huge I couldn't even eat it all. My partner had the Salt and pepper squid which was so tender it melts in your mouth. He said it was the best his had. We had amazing service and our food took no longer than 10 minutes even though the chefs where busy. I think people should definatly come check it out cant complain with a massive T.bone and squid at $10 a meal and a relaxing atmosphere. I definitely will be back :)

Nice cold, cheap beer was the one & only highlight of my visit here. There's a $10 lunch menu, which is the same old, same old. I had the Fish & Chips, not sure what I was thinking. I was asked whether I wanted the salad that is advertised as part of the meal. I said Yes. It was when my meal arrived that I comprehend the initial query. If you were a local, you would know only too well to dodge the three day old brown lettuce, warm quartered tomatoes, shredded carrots and chunks of red onion topped with a blob of thousand island dressing. My fish was oily, ordinary and 50% deep-fried batter, the chips were crinkle cut home brand. Summing up- hoh hum, hoh hum.
