Definitely great value for money and decent food. It has improved a lot over the past few years, we have only started coming back here on a regular basis after they refreshed the menu and so far (after about 10 visits) there have been no disappointments! The mains are consistently good.

Ordered the mixed roast and the roast (choice of pork or beef on the day). Service was prompt and friendly, and even brought the food out to our table (tables were not all cleaned/wiped properly). Roasts were generous in portion and tender but slightly chewy. Gravy was sweet and rich but could have been served more to enrich the meat and vegs. Vegs were well cooked and the extra serving of pumpkin was lovely. Food was decent and nothing special but if you're in the area and in the mood for roast, this is a reliable place to come.

Tried the roast and the gravy was too sweet and my friends mixed roast, the beef didn't taste right. My pork and wonton salad was ok but the wontons didn't have much flavour but the veges and the pork did. Ambience is what you expect in a RSL.
Service, nil issues but at your table you fill in your form for your order, but its for the whole table and if you're paying separately it can get confusing, which is what happened to my table. There is no issues paying separately but it just maybe confusing for the customer. The food didn't take that long to come out
Value, the portions was a little bigger than expected, well my pork and wonton entree size was anyway.

We went here on Saturday night for a meal. My partner ordered lambs brains for entree and ribs for main and I ordered a bowl of wedges for entree and as a main spaghetti with peas and broccoli as well as a serving of garlic bread. The garlic brad and entrees arrived about 20 minutes after ordering. No sooner had the entrees been served that the mains arrived. No apologies from the waitress even though we had not started our entrees yet.
On the good side, the lambs brains and wedges were good. On the bad side the ribs were over cooked, the garlic bread was soggy and my main was inedible. When I looked at my main meal it was in a puddle of oil, the pasta was hard and it appeared it had been cooked earlier and hastily reheated. I had one mouthful as did my partner and that was it, no more could be eaten. When the waitress came she asked if I was finished, I told her that I couldn't eat it and that it was terrible. The waitress just shrugged her shoulders and walked off. All in all a waste of money and a night. No recommendations here.

The food appears to have changed, pity about the decor being very old hat and in need of an update. With better surrounding and getting rid of the ordering system would make this place more appealing. Loved the food and the kids menu was fresh food not processed crap.

Recently ate here to celebrate my sisters birthday. The whole system of having to queue for food is seriously dumb! The food was ok. Steak was nice although rather fatty. Diane sauce was very good however. Service is miserable as all staff look like they haven't slept in over 1,000 years! Not a smile from anyone!
The prices are way too high for a place that is this mediocre. I almost passed out when I bought a JD & Coke in a bottle and it was $9.50! I've never even paid that at a nightclub let alone an RSL. Do yourself a favour and give this place a miss!

Food good but waited for eternity to shown to our table even though they were three quarters empty so ended up walking in and taking our own seat! I dislike the need to fill out a form and then queue to order, very tacky and cheap. Also noticed that prices are quite expensive, we won't be back.

We had ordered a steak and burger and both came out over char grilled. Both were not cheap and definitely over priced for a RSL. Prices are more like top restaurant prices. Will not be coming back.

An update: We went back last night because the kids were screaming to go to Tribal Zone and because we'd read here that things had improved. And they had. But not by much.
My food vote has gone from 3 to 7 which has dragged my value vote from 2 to 4 but the service is still surly and the atmosphere has nothing on Ryde Eastwood Leagues (as a comparison).
If you're laready a member here , then go ahead and have a moderately priced meal (it's no longer "cheap") but don't bother joining for the sake of dining - the extra $9 just isn't worth it.
**************
We used to love coming to the Atrium with the kids. There was once a cheap meal deal if you got there before 6.30, the staff were experienced and the service was economical but still worthy of being called "service".
I don't know whether it's the downturn in business since smoking was banned or a change in management but the prices have gone up, the staff all seem brand new (save for the supervisor who must be one of the most overworked blokes in Sydney) the food was burnt and reprehensibly late and no one really seemed to care. We will not return nor will we renew our RSL memberships.
