Not much to say other than this restaurant gets everything right. Always consistently fantastic in all areas. I took my father and his partner the other night and they couldn't stop raving about it. Keep up the tantalising food and 5 star service Atom!

Atom Thai was a great place to hold a birthday dinner with their spacious yet cosy rooms with thoughtful decorations and lighting. The food was delicious and served at an impressive speed. The staff were very friendly, and managed our orders very smoothly. The prices were also fantastic. I've recommended this place to friends and I hope these reviews will get the word out there that for delicious Thai food and great service Atom Thai is a great choice.

I've been trying to find a great Thai restaurant for a while now and saw the reviews on here so thought I'd check it out! Amazing! The service from the time you walk in and from the time you walk out is fantastic, we ordered as suggested for entree miang goong it was so full of flavour and definitely something I will eat again and again! We also got the luv a duck panang which was very yummy and the massaman lamb shank which was cooked perfectly! I am definitely coming back here!

Everything about my experience with Atom Thai was wonderful. I booked initially for a group of 25 and Robin was so helpful prior to the booking, confirming it the day before via text and not even flinching when I increased the numbers to 30 just the day before.

Everything went smoothly at the restaurant too, the staff were thoroughly relaxed and attended to our whole party with speedy and friendly service. To top it off, the food was absolutely delicious and they were happy to split the bill between the 3 tables which made things a lot easier.

All in all, an excellent experience and I'll be going back whenever I'm in Newtown.

This is he best thai food I've ever had and I've lived in thailand. Warm service, $6.90 lunch special is the best buy in town.

What a fantastic restaurant with warm, wonderful staff! The only way our meal could have been better was if we flew to Thailand, sat on a beach and had the Atom Thai staff serve us the same food.

We have been there twice now. The first time my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with our two daughters and the service was outstanding. All of the staff were very, very friendly all night and gave us just the right amount of attention. They accommodated our one year old with a high chair, brought paper and felt pens for our four year old to keep her entertained, and put helium-filled balloons at our table. They just kept surprising us with the extra service we weren't expecting. And the food...

The Miang Goong is the first thing on the menu and is recommended by the chef, for a very good reason - it is spectacularly good. The vegetarian spring rolls are light, delicious and not greasy at all. The Tofu Tamarind is the best tofu we have ever had. The satay chicken skewers were big, perfectly cooked and served with an amazing satay sauce. The Pad See Eaw was incredibly tasty, and the Chilli Basil Duck completely satisfied my appetite.

Every dish was fresh and delicious, and large enough to fill us while being light enough that we didn't feel overfull at the end. When we asked for the bill they brought us a complimentary icecream desert with a sparkler to celebrate our special night.

Our second visit was for my wife's birthday. We went with our children again and another couple who have two daughters about the same age as ours. Once again the service and food were extraordinary. We had the same entrees, fantastic again, and some different mains which were all amazing. Honestly, every dish we have eaten there has been completely delicious.

They handled the birthday cake we brought with perfect service and timing, and again the price overall for the meal was great. Even the other patrons are friendly with the whole room joining in singing 'Happy Birthday'. Our friends loved it too and my wife says it was the most enjoyable birthday yet.

Thank you Atom Thai. These could well be the best restaurant experiences we have ever had.

The food is always good every time I dine in at Atom Thai. Even though I have moved further away, I still have to drive back for good food!

Red curry duck and stuff chicken wing are the best compared to the other thai restaurants I have tried. The curry is full of flavour with the use of herbs+ lychee, etc, I don't normally like spicy food but this one, you just can't resist to have more (and more). If you like soft shell crab, stir fry soft shell crab is a must! Before I forget, beef salad is so yum!

I know that it is busy so that it is noisy, esp on the weekends. But overall, the night is fantastic: service is attentive, you always feel welcome (they are more like friends), you may think that it is more expensive than the others, but of course you have to pay for good food (with the use of fresh ingredients). Definitely will come back! Keep up with the good work!

Went on a coupon fearing it would be another Aussie Thai venue. It is not. The food has authentic Thai taste. It's not fancy but comfortable. The hardworking staff are attentive with a smile. We'll definitely go back again.

Perhaps, I need to visit again, because I can't quite work out why this restaurant scores more highly than one of it's close competitors. The service is warm and efficient. The venue modest but inviting. The menu is mostly the usual Euro-toned Thai fare. Our salt and pepper squid was tender and tasty. The beef in my beef and eggplant was as tough as an old boot. My partner's duck stir fry was very good. It's ironic really because it is easier to serve tough duck than beef.

Based on all the excellent reviews and two our of three dishes I would try this establishment again, but rate it less highly than Thai Potong and for food, less highly than Daoy Thai.

From your past reviews, I can see that not only are you an avid reviewer, but also a Thai food lover. This makes your contribution/critique even more valuable to us.

We have a wide range of dishes, and on the whole, I think we use a lot of more authentic Thai ingredients. The difference could be subtle, but the taste/authenticity of the outcome would be quite different. For example, we use Holy Basil for our Chilli Basil dishes, as well as baby eggplant for our green currie, while some other restaurants don't use them.

We also have a range of on-board specials, as well as a wide range of Laotian, Issan style dishes from north-eastern Thailand (where I am from). Usually we take the opportunity to hightlight those dishes to our patrons, since our menu is a bit too large/cumbersome to choose from, but sometimes when it is busy, the staff might not get the chance to do that.

I think what set us apart from other restaurants, other than our dishes and service, is that we have a great rapport with a lot of customers, and many customer/client relatinship have evolved into friendship.

We would love to see you again soon, and we trust we will impress you more with our specials and services then.

My partner and I bought a voucher to try this restaurant & went there with no expectations. Although the options for entrees, mains & desserts were limited because of this, we thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. The quality of the food was great - authentic & flavoursome Thai. Service was fast and waiters were attentive and friendly. We would certainly visit again, to try other dishes in the extensive menu.
