It's a nice place to be, decorated with traditional curtains, menu which is never seen anywhere else in Sydney and huge variety for vegetarians. Give it a go!!! If you do not like it we will refund your money or we will replace.

As this restaurant is situated within a a motel, there couldn't be much foot traffic which means that they have to rely on word of mouth which is a big ask for a chef because he has to deliver on every diner who walks in the door for it to multiply into more people coming in. The ambience was not much to talk of and the place could use a bit of airing to get rid of a musty smell. The person who waited on us was very friendly and spot on with her recommendations as veg gujrati food wasn't our forte. The undhiyu was excellent, the khichdi was excellent and a gujtrati version of vada was well recommended and knocked our socks off. The dishes are well priced which meant we could try a few different dishes. We were served in time but cannot comment on what a busy night would get us because we were the only patrons there on a Saturday night.

This place is easy to overlook since it is part of a motel. But this has some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Service was great and the price was very affordable. I will be going back.

Went to Athiti for the first time. The food is quite ok. But the service is awful. Had to wait at least an hour just to take starters and then abt another hour to get mains. The senior staffs were really rude coz they thought we demanded alot of stuff. If asking them to give us food with gluten, if thats demanding then they should think again. Awful service, Awful decorations and not value for money at all.

I have been to Atithi many times. I was really touched by one of the incidents. I was placing my order. I placed my whole order in my language (since I am a gujrati). The wait staff very politely smiled ang took my whole order. After she came back smiling again and served me and spoke nicely with me in sweet English accent. Then I realised that she did not understand gujrati at all and on top of that took my whole order without prompting a word that she is not gujrati but still got the perfect order and bid me gud bye wth a smile letting me know that she is not a gujrati.

I was really touched by her effectiveness of prompt customer service and not reverting. Anyway, food was okay. There was so much oil so I asked her if she cud get little oil removed and wait staff was happy to do that. Nice ambience. Good music.

The food is decidely one of the better fares that one would find around town. Especially the vegetarian menu is refreshingly different. The ambience is a bit loud though. The service, unfortunately, is erratic to say the least. During the several times that we have had food there it took 10 minutes to actually an hour for food to be served. The staff somehow does not appear very welcoming. The loyalty program is a joke because they will try their very best not to give you that free 30 or so percentage off your 10th or so meal with them. All in all not a great choice.

The serving sizes were very very small for the inflated prices we had to pay. The food was swimming in oil and laden with salt. We ordered the Hakka noodles among a many other items and got more capsicum and cabbage than the noodles itself (which we found was less than a cup).

Been to Atithi, couple of days ago, excellent interiors. Great food but very slow service. Only 1 person who works at reception and she is the only waiter there.
Apart from that, all good, will return.
