I recently visited this place following the renovations they did last month and I must say “wow” what a difference it looks so Parisian. The atmosphere is fantastic. I do admit that the appearance of the interior previously did need a bit of a revamp but the sweets have always been great and the value super. Every time I have tried them they were fresh and very yummy. The almond biscuits are to die for! I was served with a smile and I have to disagree with the comment below because I didn’t find that I was hurried to make my decision even though the shop was quite full. I do recommend this place if you are craving something sweet or savory.

Found this little gem whilst waiting for our food at ogalo's. For those that love foreign cakes and pastries this place is for you, I purchased: chocolate dipped shortbread, custard filled mini cake (?) and their ricotta canolli and all but the canolli were exceptional.

The custard mini cake tasted super fresh and soft, the shortbread tasted also the same, so soft and the jam so gooey on the inside! Was not impressed with the canolli though, the cheese had a massive "lemon" flavour to it which kind of ruined it for me, but besides that it was nice I guess, wouldn't buy that one again.

Like the below post, I must agree the service there is very rude, I was the only one in there at the time and they made you feel like you have to hurry up your order even when no one else was in there. I also asked for a plastic bag and she gave me a weird look then a smirk. What the hell?

Besides the rude service though its defintely worth the visit for some fresh and tasty (and cheap!!) pastries and desserts - yum!

I have been waiting for my chance to review this place. The sweets are good, authentic and very well priced but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I was driving by one Saturday evening at approx 8.30 pm and realised they were still open, well at least that's what the sign said. I was rudely told to hurry up by the lady serving me. She stated she was closed and I would just have to hurry up and decide on what I wanted.

I pointed out that the Open sign was still up but she insisted she was closed. Then the man behind the counter started giving me a lecture, at first I wasn't even sure he was talking to me and said "sorry are you talking to me" he rudely said " yes, well is there anybody else here?" and then went on to lecture me as to why I was out by myself this late. This was getting beyond ridiculous, all I wanted was a little treat.

Constant rude service every time I have been in there, not only to me but have witnessed it on other customers as well.
