We arrived around midday on a warm spring day and found the place empty even though it looked like a nice establishment. The service was fine even though the waitress was strong suggestive seller. The food (not tapas), however, was average and a little bland. Comparing to the other casual dining places that right below, and across the CBD, the value was quite poor. It was a relatively small and not overly enjoyable meal with a high price tag. Wouldn't be in a hurry to eat here again, however, afterwork drinks maybe ok.
It was a rather unpleasant experience for me. We arrived at the restaurant and the waitress brought us to a table without consulting whether we wish to be seated in or outdoor. Then we waited 10 minutes until someone came over to take our orders and another 30 minutes to cook two highly over-priced and over-cooked dishes (It was lunch time hour and possibly less than 10 tables with most only consuming beverages). We sat there looking bored and famished.
The waitresses who were, pardon me, very green never bothered to ask if we needed anything or apologise for serving our main so late since we are referring to a $28 main here and that is a one hatted restaurant price for a non hatted restaurant quality. Must I also add, for the price the restaurant is asking for, one would expect it comes with bread but instead we had to order our sour doughs.
An Oasis in the city. Speedy Tapas menu all day. Yummo! First Visit: The perfect business lunch. The food was sensational and the service very prompt but not invasive. Second visit: Took the bride on my return visit and shared the 750 gram prime rib. The best potato chats out there. Wiled away the evening in the bar area amongst the workers dallying late. Highly recommended.
Went here yesterday for a working lunch. Food was excellent, sat outdoors and in spite of its location (MLC) it wasn't noisy and we were able to conduct business without having to shout. Well priced for overall package. 9 gold stars.
