Astor Expresso is a gorgeous little cafe new to Glebe. The service is unbelievable, the staff are simply stunning and you always feel better than when you first walked in. Do yourself a favour and check it out.

Not very impressed... was looking forward to enjoying a nice cup of campos espresso which was served lukewarm :( thought I'd give the place another chance, so went back again... this time was served burnt toast and an unpleasant coffee once again... the team are friendly however drinks & food not the best value.

I'm not a regular customer anymore because I moved to another suburb but I always enjoy a breakfast there when I'm in Glebe. The food is nice, the menu is typical cafe style but I can always try something new. The family staff is always friendly and try to make everybody feel welcome.

The coffee was good but that is where it stops. I am trying to think of something, anything good to say about the breakfast I ordered this morning - but I am blank. It was lazy, unimaginative, bland, way overpriced and a total non event. The service was OK, the atmosphere dull. With the competition of places to eat on Glebe Point Rd I'm happy that some people seem to like this place, but I won't return.

As far as authentic contemporary cafes go, this is just about as good as they come.
Coffee is fresh and punchy. Food is simple, Italian and finely executed. Mood is lively and location is perfect for a morning outing. George and his team are always friendly and inviting, there is no click in this Glebe local, all comers welcome.
Worth the drive in for this inner west gem.

We come from the UK and have enjoyed breakfast and the lovely coffee at George's Astor now for 3 years. Yes the tables are close together and outside slightly skew, but the atmosphere is great, friendly and sitting in the sunshine a real change from the UK.

I'm a glebe local and come here often. Coffee always good. Great breakfasts. Friendly service. Sunny spot. Normal value, but good quality. Recommended for sure.

My 10 rating for food mostly related to the coffee which is consistently good. I haven't eaten much here, just toast and a couple of brekky options, but they're always excellent. A great little local cafe.

Cofee is always good. Staff are genuinely friendly. Good banter. I've tried every cafe's bacon and egg rolls on Glebe Point Road and theirs is easily the best.

Do not go to Astor, no aircon, terrible service (we had to remind them of our order 30 minutes in) and my eggs Benedict the hollandaise sauce was split tasted like vinegar.
