We've been going here for the past 2 years and loved it, so I was worried when we turned up last night and it said "Under New Management". Something has definitely changed because the usually excellent food was bland and the service terrible. The bulgogi was too sweet with hardly any other flavour and the sides did not turn up until we were half way through our meal. We always order the boiled dumplings and vegetable pancake, but last night the dumplings were soggy and tasteless and the pancake just tasted of oil.
Very sad to see our excellent local Korean go downhill so quickly. And to end the night, their eftpos machine wasn't working. Hopefully they work on the food and service otherwise we'll be heading to Campsie when we want Korean in the future.

This review is specifically on their Cold Noodle (non-spicy). The service was slightly below average (the waiter seems to have no customer service skills) When I asked him the difference between the chilly and no stock/ sweet, sour w/stock cold noodle dishes. (I always ask that question, to get a feel on the basic hospitality skills of the staff). The waiter who was working that night replied: "One is cheaper than the other one."
Now onto the food, cold noodles for me (growing up in Shenyang,China, I grew up with Korean descendants in my neighborhood.) is always refreshing, a slight imbalance of sour and sweet in the chilled broth, the pickled radish are also slightly more sour than sweet.
Now onto the actual dish itself: Soup : 5/5, pickled radish?: There were none. Stewed beef slices: 2/5 (bland) Egg: 3/5 (way too runny, don't get me wrong, I normally eat my eggs sunny side up, but in cold noodles? Be real!)
Value wise, it was $12 dollars, a tiny mark up for food that's below average.

Ordered my usual bibbimbab on hot rocks. Spicy soup was also just as described. The restaurant was packing up the BBQ items so we ordered from the main menu.
Kimchi pancake is better to be ordered when there are more than two of you, plus mains.

I've been here many times and the quality is always as expected. The food is a bit pricey but well worth it. The service is always impeccable, asking for extra sides is never frowned upon and someone is always regularly checking our grill and at times helping turn things which is a nice touch.

I give this restaurant a 10/10 everytime! The staff are so nice and friendly, always willing to help if need be. The food... well, the food is brilliant! So tasty! Especially the kimchi & pork pancake. They have a great choice of Korean wines too. The side dishes are plentiful and the staff will happily refill them if you run out. My boyfriend who is Korean loves it, says it's one of his favourite Korean BBQ restaurants. So, I would definitely recommend this place. It's my favourite Korean restaurant!

This place is average, the food is good, not great, the prices are slightly more than they could be for the amount of meat that you get, the service is adequate, the ambience is ok. I have been to most korean restaurants in Sydney and hundreds in Korea as I lived there for 2 years.
This was just an average experience. If you are in the area, why not try it but I wouldn't go too far out of your way to try the place. The meat was pretty tasty but that was countered with the small amount that you got. They did get 10 points right off the bat for having very cold water on the table as soon as we sat down. And for a Korean restaurant to charge you for rice? Just lost their 10 points.
So for every positive there was a negative giving us a very average experience overall. Probably won't be back anytime soon.

We're fans of Korean BBQ and decided to eat here based on the reviews on Eatability. The place is bright and pleasant, looking like it is recently renovated.
The night we attended it seemed that the entire restaurant filled up within 15 minutes, and the two waitstaff were kept very busy keeping up with everyone at once. Despite this, they were incredibly effective, and seemed to keep food coming. They were also pleasant and helpful even though they were busy.
And the food was very good, we tried the marinated pork, beef and chicken for BBQing, which we did ourselves. The flavours were lovely, and they replenished our side dishes with a minimum of fuss.
All in all, this has become our new favourite no-fuss Korean restaurant. The set menus particularly are excellent value!

After reading good reviews I thought I'd give it a go instead of the usual Korean BBQ place I go to. Must say that I was very disappointed. The food was ok but nothing special (seafood pancake was very average) but the main let down was the extremely poor service. The restaurant only had 4 table occupied but the 4 staff seemed unable to cope. It was 10 minutes after we sat down before they even got around to bringing us menus! This standard continued the whole night.
Maybe they were having an off night but I will definitely not be returning.
