Food is ok. But the chefs are a bit arrogant. Waiters are pusing and snobbish. And very expensive, not money for value. Reluctant to go back.

The Chefs are very friendly and entertaining and the service is very good. I was disappointed in the food as it taste quite ordinary and the portions were small considering the price that we paid. I suppose when you go to Teppanyaki it's more for the fun and you're really paying for the service, not the food. I would recommend it for work functions, or when you don't have to pay.

This is the place to celebrate and get loud. It's an absolute fun night, we always enjoy ourselves and the Chefs are fantastic, not only can they cook but they also know how to entertain.

This place serves excellent quality Japanese but not where to go for a quiet night. Hostesses had trouble understanding drink orders (lemonade brought me a moselle) all round a good restaurant with cheeky chefs adding some fun.

Went last night for the first time after reading reviews before me and yes I have to agree it was a GREAT place! :D The chefs were all a barrel of laughs - your not only entertained by your own chef but by other tables. To our one last night Benny!!! You are tops and to the friendly staff at Asahi - They have a wonderful sense of humour and A+ service. Will be back again for a night of fun and entertainment! :D

Great restaurant to go with a large group - not one for a romantic evening. The chefs really make the place. Don't wear your best clothes as you're likely to end up with some food on whatever you're wearing.
