I was given a massage and facial as a gift. What a disappointment. I have never before had a facial where my eye make-up was kept on and eye cream was applied over the make-up! Cleanser was not applied to the sides or back of my neck either. When I left, my skin was tight and dehydrated.

The massage was similarly poor, neither therapeutic nor relaxing and didn't work the tight muscles. The individual rooms are nicely decorated but the care taken with the decor does not extend to the treatment. I can not recommend Arvana at all.

My friend recommened Arvana Thai Massage to me. I always love a good massage, who doesn't? I was a bit sus with the location and how it looked from the outside - but do not judge the book by its cover. Greeted by the reception and was sitted to wait for my masseur. The ambience was fine - not the typical sweat shop massage place which I fear! Simple deco with individual rooms equipped with scented candle, music, towels over the massage bed. The massage was great! The dainty masseur has strength of Goliath! :) Don't ask for firm / strong if you can't take it. I made a mistake asking for firm and quickly corrected the pressure - and it was a bliss! Whenever I have shoulders' stiffness due to long working hours - I think of Arvana! :)
